PAMELA M. DOXEY, 57, of Piqua, formerly of Lima, died July 15, 2006, at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton.

She was born April 22, 1949, in Lima. Her parents Norman and Vernona Melchi, survive. She had been married to Rolland G. Doxey, who survives in Piqua. They were married on May 10, 1969, in Trenton, Mich.

Ms. Doxey was a homemaker. She began a ministry designed for healing those suffering from abuse, using her own artwork and the guidance of the Father in her work. She attended the Gathering Place, Piqua, and Piqua Assembly of God. She has now been taken home to be with Jesus.

Survivors include two daughters, Valori (Joe) Bagby of Urbana and Sallie Doxey of Piqua; a son, Jeremy (Bethany) Doxey of Montrose, Mich.; five grandchildren; two brothers, Gary and Len and their families; close friend, Carey; and several cousins, uncles, aunts and friends.

Memorial services will begin at 1 p.m. Saturday at Pleasantview Missionary Church, Greenville.
