Timothy L. "Burky" Burkholder, 51, died at 3:47 a.m. May 15, 2008, at St. Rita's Medical Center.

He was born May 24, 1956, in Lima to Maurice "Bill" and Jeannette Carpenter Burkholder. His father preceded him in death. His mother survives in Wapakoneta. His wife of 31 years, Kathy S. McDermitt Burkholder, survives in Lafayette.

Mr. Burkholder retired as a welder from Teledoor and had worked at Milcor for 26 years. He was a member of Iron Workers Local 778 and the Van Club. He was also a member of the Findlay Bottle Club and had the Burkholder Bottle Junction. He loved collecting local antique bottles especially ones from Beaverdam. He enjoyed going to flea markets, garage sales, eBay and digging in dumps.

Survivors also include two sons, James P. (Kayla Music) Burkholder, of Lima, and Justin E. Burkholder, of Lafayette; and a brother, David (Penny) Burkholder, of Connecticut.

Services will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville. The Rev. Jim Webb will officiate.

Friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
