Richard M. ‘Dick’ Kelley

Richard M. "Dick" Kelley, 64, died at 11:12 p.m. March 27, 2008, at St. Rita's Medical Center.

He was born July 30, 1943, in Harrisburg, Pa., to J. Maclay and Margery McCune Kelley. On Sept. 26, 1964, he married Gaynelle Miller, of Greenville, Ala., who survives in Cridersville.

Mr. Kelley had been director of corporate quality at Bridgestone APM Co., Findlay. He attended Crossroads Church of God. He was a life member of the Lima Sabres Gun Club and the National Rifle Association. He was a certified firearms instructor. He was a 1961 Mechanicsburg High School graduate and attended the Maryland Institute of Art. He was a Marine Corps veteran.

Survivors also include two daughters, Sandra Leigh (Tim) Teters and Tracy Lynn (Rob) Clark; five grandchildren, Jessica, Joshua, Jacob, Cody and Carson; and two great-grandchildren, Blaine and Jackson.

Graveside services will begin at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Middle Spring Cemetery, Shippensburg, Pa., with military rites. Pastor John Kurtz will officiate.

Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Gerad Foundation for Cancer Research,
