John Rex Warner, 82, died at 6:40 p.m. March 21, 2008, at his home.
He was born Dec. 5, 1925, in Benton Ridge to Benjamin G. and Grace Bernease Charles Warner.
Mr. Warner retired from the former Atlas Crankshaft Co., Fostoria. He was a World War II Army Air Forces veteran, a member of Findlay Flying Circuits Model Airplane Club and a former member of AMVETS.
Survivors include two daughters, Deborah Palmer, of Bay Village, and Vickie Warner, of Findlay; three sons, J. Michael Warner, William (Dawn) Warner and James (Marge) Warner, all of Findlay; seven grandchildren; a stepgranchild; a great-grandson; and three sisters, Jeanne Young, of Florida, Jayne Russell, of Fostoria, and Janice Cummings, of Findlay.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Joanne Roig; and a brother, James Warner.
Services will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at Kirkpatrick-Behnke Funeral Home. The Rev. Vernon LaSala will officiate. Burial will be in Benton Ridge Cemetery, Benton Ridge, where the Hancock County Veterans Memorial Squad will conduct military graveside rites.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
