CHARLES ANDREW MISTIC, 43, died at 10:30 p.m. May 1, 2005, at his residence surrounded by family.
He was born Jan. 11, 1962, in Elmhurst, Ill., to John and Sarah Shepley Mistic, who survive sin Fairfield Glade, Tenn. On Aug. 25, 1984, he married Shelly Reeve, who survives in Lima.
Mr. Mistic was a senior planner/scheduler for Jacob's Engineering, Lima, and had been a supervisor of outage scheduling for Illinois Power Co. at the Clinton Nuclear Power Station, Clinton, Ill. He attended Shawnee Alliance Church. He was a graduate of Stephen Decatur High School, Decatur, Ill., and received his bachelor's degree in management from the University of Illinois, Springfield, Ill. He was an avid golfer tennis player and motorcycle enthusiast. He and his family moved to Lima in 1999. He was a devoted husband and loving father who will be truly missed by all who knew him.
Survivors include two sons, Adam Mistic and Andrew Mistic, both at home; a brother, David Mistic of Chicago; and a sister, Martha Crisp of Colorado Springs, Colo.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at First Christian Church, Decatur, Ill. Dr. Daniel Messner will officiate. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery, Decatur, Ill.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Chiles & Sons-Laman Funeral Homes, Shawnee Chapel, and 9 a.m. until time of services Friday at the church.
