SHIRLEY F. DEARTH, 69, died at 11 a.m. April 9, 2005, at Lima Memorial Health System.

She was born Feb. 28, 1936, in McGuffey to Frank and Cleo Wies Winegardner, who preceded her in death. On Oct. 29, 1993, she married Ronald E. "Pud" Dearth, who survives in Ada.

Mrs. Dearth retired from Richland Manor as a nurse's aide. She was a member of the Alger Assembly of God. She had attended McGuffey High School.

Survivors also include two sons, Keith Joseph and Ronald (Toni) Joseph, both of McGuffey; two daughters, Nancy (Jim) Hollon of Alger and Angie (Luke) Johansen of Ada; two stepsons, James (Jennifer) Dearth of Ada and Michael (Julie) Dearth of New Carlisle; two brothers, Russell (Joan) Winegardner of Roundhead and William "Bill" Combs of Lakeview; three sisters, Diane (Ben) Berry of Kenton, Sherry Dunson of Ada and Rhonda (Jerry) Spradlin of Roundhead; and nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a grandson, Mark Hollon; and three sisters, Patricia Krummrey, June Allen and Norma J. Winegardner.

Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Alger. The Rev. Randall C. Wilson and Brother Lloyd Salyer will officiate. Burial will be in Preston Cemetery, Alger.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today and until the time of services Wednesday at the funeral home.
