Emily Loth, 88, died at 5:07 p.m. March 29, 2008, at her residence surrounded by her friends.
She was born May 26, 1919, in St. Cloud, Wis., to Stephan and Camilla Spal Kodai, who preceded her in death. On Nov. 13, 1943, she married Roger Loth in West Allis, Wis. He died on May 26, 1998, after more than 53 years of marriage.
Emily was a devoted Christian woman having read her Bible through 17 times. She loved animals, especially horses, having had several when she was younger, and was an avid rider along with her husband, Roger.
Survivors include a brother-in-law, Charles Wedel, of Wisconsin; a sister-in-law, Gertrude Kodai, of Wisconsin; nieces and nephews; and special friends, Sharron Smith, Janice and Bill Stalnaker, and Grant Mizek.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Charles Kodai; and three sisters, Marie Musil, Valentina Dreyfus and Anne Wedel.
A gathering of friends will be from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Armentrout Funeral Home, Waynesfield, at which time a procession to Memorial Park Cemetery will leave for a 2 p.m. service at the cemetery mausoleum. Pastor Edward Jarrell will officiate.
Instead of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to St. Rita's Hospice in Emily's memory for all its assistance and kindness during her illness.
