Dana L. Joseph Cole, 72, died Feb. 24, 2008, at Lima Memorial Health System.
She was born Oct. 1, 1935, in Logan County to John and Margaret May Botkins Green, who preceded her in death. She married Howard Joseph, who died Nov. 4, 1978. She then married Ham Cole, in Kenton, and he survives.
Mrs. Cole had been a nurse's aide at Heartland of Indian Lake, Lakeview, and The Corinthians, Kenton. She was a member of Voice of Life Ministries, Kenton.
Survivors also include five sons, Jr. (Norma) Joseph, of Dunkirk, Kelly Joseph, of Kenton, Steven (Deb) Hattery, of Celina, Mike Anderson, of Alger, and Rick (Candy) Joseph, of Belle Center; two stepsons, Larry Cole, of Lima, and Ham (Donna) Cole Jr., of Anna; a brother, Carl (Penny) May, of Belle Center; a sister, Betty Barten, of Largo, Fla.; and 17 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Vera Joseph; two brothers, Tom and Kenny "Brub" May; and a sister, Jean Brake.
Services will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at Eichholtz Funeral Home, Belle Center. The Rev. Terry Hawkins will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Belle Center.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
