MARY ROSE LUKE, 80, died at 7 a.m. Oct. 26, 2005, at Plus Health Care Center.
She was born Oct. 10, 1925, in Hatchechubbee, Ala., to Isaac and Minnie Lee Gwinn Benton, who preceded her in death. She married Timothy Glenn Sr., who preceded her in death. She then married Arthur L. Luke, who also preceded her in death.
Mrs. Luke was a homemaker and had worked in the cafeteria at Lima State Hospital.
Survivors include three sons, Timothy (Luvenia) Glenn Jr. of Lima, Eddie (Barbara) Glenn of Defiance and Larry (Robbie) Luke of Lima; 16 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; a brother, Isaac (Essie) Benton of Columbus, Ga.; and two sisters, Martha Boddie and Ida Huling, both of Columbus, Ga.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Gloria Jean Martin; a sister, Mazelle Benton; and two brothers, Joe Louis and John D. Benton.
Services will begin at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Jones-Clark Funeral Home. The Rev. Robert Toney will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.
