LCC knocks off Kalamazoo Central

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Tre Cobbs had 14 points, six rebounds, six assists and three steals as Lima Central Catholic defeated Kalamazoo Central 68-53 Saturday night.

Kalamazoo Central entered the game 14-0 and ranked No. 9 in Class A, the biggest division in Michigan basketball. LCC is now 16-2 on the season.

Bath 56, Bowling Green 44

BATH TOWNSHIP — Andrew Renner had 17 points and Chase Clark scored 13 for Bowling Green.

Fort Jennings 46, Allen East 44

HARROD — Austin Kehres (17), Mark Metzger (12) and Brandon Wehri (10) all scored in double digits for Fort Jennings, which outscored Allen East 14-10 in the fourth quarter. Spencer Miller had 18 points for Allen East.

Napoleon 65, Ottawa-Glandorf 57

NAPOLEON — Brad Recker had 17 points and Nick Weihrauch and Jason Schnipke scored 12 each for Ottawa-Glandorf.

New Knoxville 54,

Temple Christian 35

LIMA — Jalen Fullenkamp had 19 points, Andrew Arnett had 12 points and Adam Howe scored 11 for New Knoxville. Michael Breaston led Temple Christian with 10 points.

Continental 57, Columbus Grove 54

CONTINENTAL — Wade Stauffer had 15 points and Trevor Williamson scored 14 for Continental. Gabe Stechschulte had 23 points and Jace Darbyshire scored 20 for Columbus Grove.

Lincolnview 58, Delphos St. John’s 53

VAN WERT — Justis Dowdy had 25 points and Trevor Neate scored 13 for Lincolnview. Evan Hays had 14 points and Alex Odenwller and Andy Grothouse scored 13 each for Delphos St. John’s.

St. Marys 66, Upper Scioto Valley 49

MCGUFFEY — Derek Joy (25), Quinn Zaerr (16) and Josh Young (12) all scored in double digits for St. Marys. Lane Hurley had 20 points and Cameron Parker scored 17 for USV.

Wayne Trace 59, Kalida 58 (OT)

KALIDA — Devin Kortokrax had 16 points and Trent Gerding and Drew Hovest scored 12 each for Kalida.

Crestview 67, Hicksville 42

CONVOY — Mitchel Rickard (21), Connor Lautzenheiser (19) and Cody Mefferd (14) all scored in double digits for Crestview.

Celina 60, St. Henry 42

CELINA — Ryan Hoyng (17), Caleb Hoyng (11) and Jacob Stolly (10) all scored in double digits for Celina. Caleb Bender led the Redskins with 10 points. St. Henry’s Ryan Mikesell and Mitch Stammen were out with injuries.

FORT RECOVERY — Brandon Schoen (14,) Caleb Martin (13) and Micaiah Cox (11) all scored in double digits for Fort Recovery.

Jackson Center 59, Minster 46

MINSTER — Brady Wildermuth had 23 points and Drew Sosby and Gavin Wildermuth scored 14 each for Jackson Center. Gabe Goodwin led Minster with 18 points.

New Bremen 62, Botkins 41

NEW BREMEN — Carson Manger had 27 points to lead the host Cardinals. Cameron Flora had 10 points for Botkins.
