MARGARET M. HONIGFORD, 78, died at 7:13 p.m. Dec. 20, 2004, at St. Rita's Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 4, 1926, in Delphos to Clifford and Nora Stopher Prine, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 14, 1946, she married Alfred C. Honigford, who survives in Ottoville.

Mrs. Honigford worked for Paradise Oaks Nursing Center for more than 20 years and for Lock 16 Catering for 10 years. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville, and its Altar Rosary Society.

Survivors also include five children, A. John (Pam) Honigford of Griffin, Ga., David (Diane) Honigford of Grove City, Daniel (Ruth) Honigford and Jeffrey (Pam) Honigford, both of Ottoville, and Rebecca (Jeff) Hall of Marietta, Ga.; four siblings, Robert (Betty) Prine and William Prine, both of Delphos, Jack Prine of Oakwood and Norma Moore of Grover Hill; two sisters-in-law, Rose (Hank) Wegesin of Delphos and Anna Marie Kahle of Glandorf; two brothers-in-law Roger Honigford of Leipsic and Walter "Butch" (Paulette) Honigford of Delphos; and 15 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lorraine Carder and Twila Ball; four brothers, Hershel, Richard, Melvin and Larry Prine; and two brothers-in-law, Urban "Bud" and Victor Honigford.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 2 p.m. Thursday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Ottoville. The Rev. Tony Borgia will officiate. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Ottoville.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. today at Kolkmeyer-Helmkamp-Orians Funeral Home, Ottoville, where a parish wake service will be held at 4:30 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Cemetery Fund or Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Building Repair Fund.
