Henderson scores 37 in narrow Wapak victory

SIDNEY — Adam Henderson scored 37 points as Wapakoneta came away with a 69-67 double overtime boys basketball victory against Sidney on Tuesday night.

CONTINENTAL — Derek Troyer had 12 points and Gabe Williams scored 11 for Continental.

Lima Senior 71, Celina 57

CELINA — Lima Senior broke open a 15-15 game after the first quarter by outscoring Celina 28-15 in the second period on its way to a victory against Celina on Tuesday night.

Rion Thompson had 27 points and Essence Cowan scored 16 for Lima Senior. Trisha Dennis had 14 points and Jenna Berry scored 10 for the host Bulldogs.

Crestview 56, Antwerp 26

CONVOY — Emily Bauer had 18 points and Lindsey Motycka scored 17 for the 17-0 Knights.

Kalida 52, Spencerville 31

KALIDA — Allison Recker had 15 points and Kylie Osterhage scored 13 for Kalida. Katie Merriman had 10 points for Spencerville.

Ottawa-Glandorf 49, Napoleon 29

OTTAWA — Erin Basinger had 12 points and Kadie Hempfling scored nine to lead Ottawa-Glandorf.

DELPHOS — Madilynn Schulte and Lexie Hays each had seven points for Delphos St. John’s. Ashton Bowersock led Lincolnview with 12 points.

ELIDA — Alicia Honingford had 14 points and Annie Lindeman scored 13 for Ottoville. Shyah Wheeler had 12 points and Abby Waddle scored eight for Elida.

FORT LORAMIE — Cadence Jacobs had 21 points and Emily Mescher scored 11 for Marion Local, ranked No. 1 in Division IV against eighth-ranked Fort Loramie.

LIMA — After trailing 10-0 and the 16-5 at halftime, Temple Christian outscored the Ohio Eagles 20-4 in the third quarter and went on to the victory Monday night.

Morgan Callahan had 12 points and Lynnea Clay scored 11 for the Pioneers.


VAN WERT — Columbus Grove defeated host Lincolnview 41-6 but lost to Bluffton 38-27. Columbus Grove’s Preston Brubaker won both his matches by pin at 106 pounds.
