Port Charlotte, Fla.

MARY E. KOPPITCH, 91, died July 9, 2006.

She was born April 1, 1915, in Schenectady, N.Y., to Frank and Evelyn Cutter, who preceded her in death. She married Clare Koppitch, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Koppitch retired in 1973 as a music teacher from Wadsworth City Schools, Wadsworth, and had been a music therapist at Sunland Training Center, Lee County, Fla. She was of Presbyterian faith. She was a member of the Genealogy Society, Lehigh, Fla. She received her bachelor's degree from Western College, Oxford. She moved to Port Charlotte, Fla., from Lehigh Acres, Fla., in 1986.

Survivors include two daughters, Heidi Feast of Houston and Mary Mackner of Jacksonville, Fla.; a son, John Koppitch of Indianapolis; a nephew, Andrew Cutter of Lima; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Cutter.

Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in the third floor chapel at Harbour Health Center, Port Charlotte, Fla.
