ROSEMARY McPHERON CASEY, 80, died at 4:35 p.m. Aug. 21, 2005, at Mennonite Memorial Home, Bluffton.

She was born July 6, 1925, in Lima to Harold Franklin and Mary Catherine Foley McPheron, who preceded her in death. On March 3, 1945, she married James Eugene "Gene" Casey, who died March 26, 1984.

Mrs. Casey was a homemaker and had worked at St. Rita's Medical Center, Westinghouse Electric Corp., the Lima Convalescent Home, Rinks Department Store and the Lima Tank Depot. She was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church and its Altar Rosary Society.

Survivors include four sons, James M. (Joan) Casey and Dennis H. Casey, both of Lima, Daniel R. (Becky Hauserman) Casey of Pandora and William P. (Terry) Casey of Casa Grande, Ariz.; two daughters, M. Eileen (Timothy) Sellers of Lima and Jeanie C. (Larry) Biederman of Sun City, Ariz.; seven grandchildren, Michelle (Eric) Lammers of Elyria, Bridgot (Mark) Asher of Young Town, Ariz., Brenda Sellers and Shawn (Dawn) Sellers, both of Lima, Aaron Casey of Columbus, Adam Casey of Toledo and Michael Casey of Casa Grande, Ariz.; five great-grandchildren, Logan, Alexander and Shayla Sellers, all of Lima, and Dalton and Lauren Lammers, both of Elyria; two brothers, Robert McPheron of Lima and Joseph McPheron of Findlay; and a sister, Mary M. "Maggie" Riepenhoff of Lima.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Josephine K. Casey; a granddaughter, Rose Marie Casey; and a brother, Harold F. McPheron Jr.

Memorial Mass will begin at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. John Catholic Church, Lima. Father William Rose will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville.

Memorial contributions may be made to Putnam County Hospice, the American Cancer Society or the Mennonite Memorial Home.
