Letter: Residents should pay for I-75 soundwalls

First Posted: 10/28/2010

The walls they want to build on Interstate 75 are a good idea. But the people there, when they moved next to I-75, they knew it was there and they knew how loud it was. So why do I, as a taxpayer, have to pay to make their life better? If they want the walls, pay for them like the rest of have to pay for creek cleaning, sewer lines and the like. The walls can be put on tax bills.
