Eva I. Hundley, 85, died at 5:20 p.m. Aug. 28, 2010, at Van Wert Hospice Center.
She was born Nov. 22, 1924, in Hardin County to Clifford and Bessie Brown Steele, who preceded her in death. On March 23, 1946, she married John Hundley, who died June 8, 1994.
Mrs. Hundley was a housewife.
Survivors include three sons, John L. Hundley, of Landeck, Robert D. (Earnestine Paul) Hundley, of Mendon, and Harold E. Hundley, of Payne; five daughters, Sharon (Charles) Miller, of Middle Point, Marcia Hernandez, of Van Wert, Donna Hundley, of Van Wert, Norma (Rodney) Rahrig, of Spencerville, and Gwen (Glenn) Rowe, of Cleveland, Ga.; four sisters, Helen Cannode, of Kenton, Vera (Ray) Davis, of Dunkirk, Mary (Bo) Bohanon, of Tennessee, and Phyllis House, of New Mexico; a brother, Mitchell Steele, of Kenton; and 23 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Smith; three brothers, Curtis, Richard and William Steele; and three sisters, Erma Hunnaman, Rosie Steele and Marylan Steele.
Services will begin at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Harter and Schier Funeral Home. Jim Hernandez will officiate. Burial will be in Venedocia Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 2 to 3 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
