Jarrett L. Fowler, 14, died at 2:07 p.m. Sept. 14, 2010, at the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born May 16, 1996, in St. Marys to Terry L. and Vickie Williams Fowler. His father died Jan. 17, 2006. His mother and stepfather, Vickie and Alan Bruggeman, survive in St. Marys.
Jarrett was a freshman at Memorial High School, St. Marys. He attended Holy Rosary Catholic Church, St. Marys. He enjoyed riding his four-wheeler, racing go-karts, playing video games and following NASCAR.
Survivors also include a sister, Janessa Fowler, of St. Marys; two brothers, Brian (Lou Ann) Fowler, of Ottawa, and Brad (Cassi) Fowler, of St. Marys; a stepsister, Melissa Bruggeman, of St. Marys; three stepbrothers, Seth Bruggeman, Graham Bruggeman and Chase Bruggeman, all of St. Marys; paternal grandparents, Rich and Peggy Fowler, of St. Marys; stepgrandmother, Kay Bruggeman, of St. Marys; three nieces; two nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and godparents, Franklin Fortman Jr. and Dottie Lininger, both of St. Marys.
He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Charles and Dorothy Williams; and an aunt Connie Blosser.
Services will begin at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys. Deacon Martin Brown will officiate. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, St. Marys.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
