Agnes Eulalia Goedde, 88, of Columbus, formerly of Lakeview, died at 2:30 a.m. Dec. 12, 2010, at Monterey Care Center, Grove City.
She was born May 6, 1922, in Landeck to Andrew and Frances Kalt Ardner, who preceded her in death. On May 6, 1942, she married James Goedde, who died Dec. 20, 1990. She retired from R.G. Dunn Cigar Corp. in Lima after 22 years of service. She was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church and a former member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Landeck, C K of O. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Loyal Order of Moose. She was a life member of AMVETS. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo.
Survivors include a son, Ronald (Leona) Goedde, of Florida; three daughters, Connie David and Janie Konst, both of Columbus, and Ruthie Hammonds, of Landeck; a brother-in-law, Russell (Bonnie) Goedde; 12 grandchildren, Jerry and Kerry Whitaker, Robin Goedde, Wendy Cooper, Theresa Goedde, John and David Davis, Angie Moore, Brand Hammons, Misti Willis, Denise Hammons and Chelle Konst; and 16 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Carl Goedde; two brothers, Arnold and Richard Ardner; and three sisters, Lavina Clement, Rovena Wagner and Coletta Baldauf.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Landeck. The Rev. Melvin Verhoff will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Harter and Schier Funeral Home, Delphos. A parish wake service will begin at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Monterey Care Center Activities Department.
