Patricia Ann Core, 75, died at 11:45 p.m. Oct. 15, 2010, at her home in Lima.
She was born July 11, 1935, in Lima to John and Grace Williams Pendergast. She married William Brown, who died in 1974. She then married Jack Core, who survives in Lima.
Mrs. Core attended Lima South High School. She was a homemaker and worked at City Loan Co. and Sears, both in Lima. She was a member of Shawnee Alliance Church and its Bible Study and Prophecy Class. She was a Notre Dame fan as well as a true Ohio State fan. She bravely fought her battle with multiple myeloma and was very much looking forward to seeing her Savior.
Survivors also include four sons, Greg (Tammy) Brown, of Phoenix, David (Candice) Brown, of Harrod, Gary (Kelly) Brown, of Lima, and Jack Core, of Denver; three daughters, Debbie (Dewey) Hurst, of Lima, Cindy Morris Core, of Alger, and Lisa (James) Hadding, of Lima; and 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Martha Campbell.
Services will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hartman Sons Funeral Home in Columbus Grove. Pastor Daniel Messner will officiate. Burial will be in Truro Cemetery in Columbus Grove.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
