Letter: Take your own vital, send in your payment

Many years ago when visiting the family doctor, the receptionist would ask a few questions and fill out a form on behalf of the patient. Today, that job is given over to the patient on a clipboard, relieving the office of paperwork. The next change I anticipate is seeing the receptionist or nurse hand the patient a couple items along with the clipboard; a stethoscope and a blood-pressure monitor.
