Irene Mary Wireman, 62, died at 2 p.m. Jan. 20, 2010, at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus.
She was born June 1, 1947, in Lima to Irvin J. and Adeline R. Ricker Pohlman. Her father preceded her in death. Her mother survives in Delphos. On Oct. 11, 1969, she married Monroe Wireman, who died June 28, 1999.
Mrs. Wireman had been a dental receptionist for Dr. Cline for 10 years. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Delphos. She enjoyed painting, gardening and cooking.
Survivors include three sons, Todd (Kelly) Wireman, of Fremont, Eric (Angie) Wireman, of Lynchburg, and Brad (Candice Creek) Wireman, of Hillsboro; three daughters, Janna Wireman, of Van Wert, Elaine (Tom) Messina, of Columbus, and Karen Wireman, of Toledo; a sister, Esther (Gerald) Ellerbrock, of Fort Jennings; two brothers, William (Janis) Pohlman, of Miamisburg, and Leroy Pohlman, of Ottoville; two grandchildren, Keegan and Aurelia Wireman; and two beloved granddogs, Sofie and Marley.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Joe Pohlman.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Delphos. Father Jacob Gordon will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Delphos.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Harter & Schier Funeral Home, Delphos, where a parish wake service will be held at 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
