Heather N. Bame, 39, died March 17, 2010, at her residence after an eight-year extended battle with ovarian cancer.

She was born May 30, 1970, in Fremont to Jerald F. and Janice M. Thornton Clark. Her father survives in Fremont. She was married on June 15, 1991, to Jonathon H. Bame, who survives.

Mrs. Bame was a health care broker with Spencer-Patterson Insurance. She was a member of College First Church of God, American Red Cross volunteer, and Hancock County Leadership. She loved to play the piano, travel, especially to Maine, and photography. She had many friends, nephews and nieces that she loved very much.

Survivors also include a sister, Andrea (Tim) Depinet, of Bowling Green.

She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Mary C. Gase.

Services will begin at 10:30 a.m. Monday at College First Church of God. The Rev. William H. Reist will officiate. Burial will be in Arlington Cemetery.

Friends may call from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay.
