Today’s latest updates on the coronavirus pandemic

• The Ohio Department of Health updated its weekly number of cases reported from school districts Thursday.

In Allen County, Lima had 19 new student cases and five new staff cases. Shawnee had 12 new student cases and three new staff cases. Elida and Spencerville each had seven new student cases. Delphos has five new student cases and one new staff case. Apollo Career Center had five new student cases. Bath had four new student cases and one new staff case. Perry had three new student cases. Bluffton had two new student cases. St. Gerard had two new student cases. St. Charles had one new student case.

In Auglaize County, Wapakoneta had 13 new student cases and four new staff cases. St. Marys had five new student cases. New Bremen had four new student cases. Holy Rosary had one new student case.

In Putnam County, Pandora-Gilboa had three new student cases and one new staff case. Columbus Grove, Continental and Ottawa-Glandorf each had three new student cases. Jennings had two new student cases. Miller City-New Cleveland and SS. Peter and Paul each had one new staff case.

• The ODH updated its cases for long-term care facilities late Wednesday.

In Allen County, Lockhaven had seven new resident cases and two new staff cases. Mennonite Memorial Home and The Springs of Lima each had two new staff cases. Springview Manor had one new resident case and one new staff case. Carecore at Lima, Kessler Estates Senior Living, Roselawn Manor and Vancrest of Delphos each had one new staff case.

In Auglaize County, Wapakoneta Manor had 10 new resident cases and seven new staff cases. Otterbein St. Marys Retirement Community had eight new staff cases. Elmwood Assisted Living of New Bremen had three new staff cases. Cridersville Nursing Home, Grand Lake Healthcare Center nursing home and Otterbein-Cridersville nursing home each had two new staff cases. Otterbein-St. Marys Retirement Community assisted living had one new resident and one new staff case. Heritage Center for Rehab and Specialty Care nursing home had one new resident case. Auglaize Acres and Vancrest of St. Marys each had one new staff case.

In Putnam County, Meadows of Ottawa had three new resident cases and three new staff cases. Meadows of Kalida nursing home had three new resident cases and one new staff case. Meadows of Leipsic nursing home had two new resident cases and one new staff case.
