St. John's girls edge Shawnee

A fourth-quarter surge carried Delphos St. John's to a 41-35 girls basketball victory over Shawnee on Monday night.

The Indians led 28-26 going into the fourth quarter.

Zefiryn Bryan had 16 points for the Blue Jays (5-1). Brittany Miller hit three 3-pointers.

Shawnee (3-3) got 14 points from Samantha Robison.

Bettsville 12

The Hornets held Bettsville scoreless in the first quarter and led 31-2 at halftime.

Lynsey Harris' 11 points led Cory-Rawson to its first win of the season. Eleven players got into the scoring column for the winners.

Botkins 61
Waynesfield-Goshen 46

Cristen George scored 17 points, Christie Fullenkamp had 14 points, Leah Schmerge had 13 points and Jenna Schmerge scored 11 for Botkins.

Brooke Shaw led Waynesfield-Goshen with 11 points. Abbey Gray and Ivy Horn had 10 points each.

St. Henry 45

Candra Francis and Cenzie Yoder each scored 12 points for the Bulldogs (4-2), who rallied late in the game, for their non-league win.

Brooke Mattingly led St. Henry (4-3) with 18 points.
