BATH TOWNSHIP — The Elida trio of Ardie Sayoto, Chris Ellison and Jordan Greeley each won singles matches to help the Bulldogs’ boys tennis team beat Bath 5-0 and begin the Western Buckeye League campaign with a win at Bath on Friday.



In doubles, Aric Thompson and Ian Klaus won at No. 1 while Asa Swihart and Kody Ley won at No. 2. Elida is 1-2.



Ottawa-Glandorf 3, St. Marys 2



OTTAWA — Alex Schroeder and Brandon Hempfling won in singles matches to help O-G beat St. Marys in a WBL match. At No. 1 doubles, Brenden Drerup and Zach Bruskotter won for the Titans. For St. Marys, Alex Kuhlman won at second singles and the doubles team of Jon Schroeder and Connor Kuhlman won at second doubles.



Shawnee 3, Ontario 2



SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP — Jason Barton and Ruthvic Avvari won in singles play as Shawnee improved to 3-2. Scott Jettinghoff and Predvi Battula won in second doubles for Shawnee.



Softball



Van Wert 9, Parkway 7



ROCKFORD — Brittany Bigham slammed a three-run homer in the first inning and had another home run in the fifth to finish with six RBIs for Van Wert in the nonleague win. Amanda Coplin doubled twice for the Cougars (1-2) and Jessica Klausing got the pitching win. Sierra Fent homered and doubled and five RBIs for Parkway (1-2) while Ashlynn Henderson doubled.



Fairview 6, Crestview 2



FAIRVIEW — Kirstin Hicks doubled and singled for the Knights in the loss. Crestview had seven hits but mustered just two runs. Hicks also took the pitching loss while teammate Emily Bauer delivered two singles.



Paulding 7, Antwerp 6



ANTWERP — Morgan Riley doubled and tripled as Paulding cracked 13 hits in the win. Kelsey Beck, Emily Farr and Jerika Bland each had two singles for Paulding. Kristen Schilt was the winning pitcher, throwing a complete game and striking out five.



Patrick Henry 3, Miller City 2



MILLER CITY — Liz Klear went 2-for-3 with two RBIs for Miller City. Liz Schimmoeller pitched a complete game in the loss, striking out four, walking two and giving up eight hits.



Baseball



Leipsic 6, Columbus Grove 5



COLUMBUS GROVE — Leipsic scored five runs in the top of the third and made it stand up in the victory over host Columbus Grove. Grove is 2-1 while Leipsic improves to 2-0.



Jason Niese and Josh Gerten each singled three times for the Vikings while Logan Haselman was the winning pitcher and had two singles. Matt Jay doubled for the Bulldogs and Kody Griffith singled twice.



Ottawa-Glandorf 14, Miller City 0



OTTAWA — The Titans slugged 13 hits and pitcher Drew Schierloh allowed just three hits in the five-inning non-league game.



Schierloh struck out eight and walked three while slugging three singles for O-G (2-0). Cory Imm singled twice and had two RBIs, Tyler Zender doubled twice and Brad Croy singled twice. Miller City is 2-1.



Celina 10, New Bremen 2



CELINA — Celina pitchers Cody Vogel and Cole Loughridge combined on a one-hitter to help the Bulldogs to a non-league win. Vogel got the win and Loughridge earned a save. Shawn Strachler went 2-for-4 with two runs scored for Celina (4-0), Kaleb Kuhn was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and three runs scored, Riley Leubke had two RBIs a single and a run scored and Brandon McGilvary doubled. David Zirkle doubled for New Bremen (1-3).



Clay 10, Lima Senior 0



LIMA — Lima Senior fell to 0-4 overall and 0-1 in the TRAC. The Spartans had five errors.



Allen East 19, Arcadia 7



ARCADIA — Allen East scored 11 runs in the third and slugged 19 hits total for the non-league win. Tanner Stippich was 3-for-3 with three RBIs, he doubled twice and had a triple for the Mustangs. Casey Crow was 3-for-3 with a double, Derek Ketchum tripled and Brandon Goodwin got the pitching win with seven strikeouts.



Coldwater 11, St. Marys 0



ST. MARYS — Gant Muhlenkamp went 4-for-5 with an RBI, two runs scored and two stolen bases for Coldwater in the non-league win. Greg Gilliland got the pitching win, allowing one hit, four walks and striking out four for the Cavaliers (3-1).



Kenton 13, Indian Lake 8



KENTON — Logan Nichols pitched 6 1/3 innings to get the win and doubled, singled, had two RBIs and scored twice to help Kenton. Luke Jackson tripled, scored and had an RBI.
