ST. MARYS Kimmy Reynolds pitched her third perfect game of the season on Tuesday and Baths softball team beat St. Marys 17-0 in a five-inning Western Buckeye League game. Reynolds also belted a two-run homer while Julia Miller smacked a grand slam and Camille Martin opened the game with a solo home run. Miller also finished 4-for-4 with six RBIs for Bath (12-1, 2-0). Mallory Kill was the losing pitcher, striking out five and walking seven for St. Marys.



Shawnee 11, Kenton 3



KENTON Kay Shick raised her pitching record to 9-0 for Shawnee in the WBL victory. Shick struck out eight, walked three and gave up six hits as the Indians stayed unbeaten at 11-0. Shelby Lucas and Abby Hall both had two hits for Shawnee. Gwen Downing and Sara Kuhlman each doubled for Kenton while Morgan Goecke had two hits.



Celina 5, Wapakoneta 4



WAPAKONETA Celina scored a run in the top of the eighth and held on to win at Wapakoneta in a close WBL contest. No other stats were reported.



Allen East 10, Perry 8



HARROD Allen East smashed 14 hits and Kaycee Rowe raised her pitching record to 5-1. Aubren Davis got the save for Allen East (10-5) while Aubrey Rodriguez went 3-for-4, Erin Conkle doubled, singles and scored twice, Sierra Sizemore tripled, Rowe was 2-for-4 with two runs and Madison Schantz was 2-for-4 with two RBIs. Abbie Patton went 3-for-4 with three runs scored for Perry, Imia Watson was 2-for-3 while Courtland Folwer and Kimberly Dove each doubled.



Kalida 9, Spencerville 8



KALIDA Summer Holtkamp doubled and tripled for the Wildcats and Amy Smith was the winning pitcher. Smith struck out three and walked four. Kalida had just three hits in the win while Spencerville had 12 hits. Alex Shumate was 3-for-4 with two doubles and three RBIs for the Bearcats (2-7) and Amber Hallard doubled.



Elida 5, Van Wert 2



ELIDA Elidas Aryanna Brown pitched a two-hitter, striking out eight and allowing two unearned runs for the Bulldogs. Caitie Shryoer hit a two-run single in the bottom of the fifth and Elida improved to 6-5 overall and 1-2 in the WBL. Jessica Klausing took the pitching loss but struck out four, walked one and gave up five hits.



Toledo St. Ursula 15, Lima Senior 4



LIMA Kayleigh Twining doubled and tripled for the Spartans in the TRAC loss at home. She also took the pitching loss, striking out five. Lima Senior is 0-6 overall and 0-4 in the TRAC while St. Ursula is 3-6, 2-2.



Ottawa-Glandorf 10, Defiance 0



OTTAWA Megan Kitchen raised her pitching record to 5-0 as O-G won the WBL game. Kitchen struck out five, walked two and gave up four hits and no runs. Katelyn Kaufman homered and singled for the Titans (6-0, 1-0), Tasha Cass doubled and singled twice and Lindsey Prichard doubled and singled.



Patrick Henry 10, Columbus Grove 5



HAMLER Patrick Henry cracked seven hits and took advantage of five Grove errors for the non-league win. Micah Stechsculte doubled for Grove while Bobbi Heckel took the pitching loss.



Baseball



Bath 5, St. Marys 0



BATH TOWNSHIP Bath scored five runs in the first two innings and pitcher Colin Gossard made sure it held up in a WBL win over visiting St. Marys.



Gossard (5-0) struck out eight and walked two in the victory. He also went 2-for-3 at the plate with two RBIs and Eric Heffner was 2-for-4. Bath is 9-5 overall and 3-0 in the WBL while St. Marys is 0-9 overall.



Shawnee 6, Kenton 2



SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP Cory Wilder pitched a one-hitter to help Shawnee in the WBL win. Wilder also doubled and singled as Shawnee pounded out 10 hits. Zach Bailey tripled for the Indians and Casey Mulcahy doubled and Andrew Bryan was 3-for-3.



Wapakoneta 10, Celina 0



CELINA Chance Culver pitched a complete-game, two-hitter for Wapakoneta in the six-inning WBL win. Culver walked two and struck out three for Wapak, which didnt give up an error and pounded 13 hits, he also homered at the plate. Chandler Kaeck went 3-for-3 with a home run, five RBIs and a run scored for Wapak, Johnny Crawford went 2-for-5 with two runs and two RBIs while Marshall Gerlach doubled and singled and scored twice and Andrew Hines doubled. Brandon Schreiber went 2-for-3 and Josh Apple was 2-for-4 with two runs scored.



Van Wert 6, Elida 4



VAN WERT Ustice Tussing went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI for Van Wert while Jacob Brann doubled. Nathan Stoller (3-0) was the winning pitcher, fanning seven and walking four for Van Wert (9-4, 2-0). Adam Purdy and Jesse Wheeler each doubled for Elida (0-9, 0-2).



Defiance 5, Ottawa-Glandorf 0



DEFIANCE Defiance stayed unbeaten at 11-0 as Weston Rivers struck out six and walked none from the mound in getting the win to improve to 4-0. Dom Gentile had three hits with a double while Adam Shaffer and Austin Yant each doubled. Ben Dietering doubled for the Titans (7-2).



Allen East 10, Lima Senior 4



HARROD Allen East finished with 12 hits in the non-league win. Tanner Stippich tripled for Allen East (4-6) while Trenton Carey was 2-for-2 with a double and two RBIs, Erik Neeley doubled and Max McAdoo had three RBIs. Nick Kohlrieser was the winning pitcher.



Columbus Grove 11, Fort Jennings 1



COLUMBUS GROVE Brandon Benroth went 2-for-3 with a double, two RBIs and a run scored for Grove in the PCL win. Blake Hoffman doubled, singled and scored twice for the Bulldogs (8-1, 2-1), Matt Jay doubled and scored twice, Trey Roney was 2-for-3 with two runs scored, Kody Griffith doubled and drove in two runs and Trent Vorst singled twice. Josh Verhoff (3-0) was the winning pitcher, allowing one unearned run, three walks and striking out seven. Alex Vetter singled twice for Fort Jennings (3-7, 0-3).



Ottoville 7, Leipsic 0



LEIPSIC Ottoville roped eight hits and Derrick Schimmoeller was the winning pitcher, allowing two hits in the win.



St. Henry 11, Delphos St. Johns 1



ST. HENRY Alex Post doubled and was the winning pitcher as St. Henry improved to 9-2 (3-0 in the MAC) while St. Johns fell to 3-7 (0-2). Post pitched a complete game, one-hitter while St. Henry smacked 12 hits.



Waynesfield-Goshen 17, Hardin Northern 9



DOLA Matt Spielman was 3-for-5 with a double, two runs scored and two RBIs for Waynesfield-Goshen (2-6). Taylor Schultz doubled, singled, had two RBIs and scored twice for W-G while Dylan Little was the winning pitcher and went 2-for-4 with three runs scored and one RBI.



Pandora-Gilboa 8, Arcadia 6



PANDORA Brian Schneck was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI as the Rockets improved to 5-3. Jacob Basinger was 2-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs for P-G while Schneck was also the winning pitcher. Alex Osborn added two hits and an RBI for P-G.



Tennis



Ottawa-Glandorf 4, Defiance 1



OTTAWA Alex Schroeder, Zach Bruskotter and Brandon Hempfling won singles matches to help O-G move to 6-1 overall and 3-0 in the WBL. In doubles, Trevor Kuhlman and Adam Lehman won at No. 2.



Shawnee 5, Kenton 0



KENTON Jason Barton, Avinash Rahasekaran and Ruthic Avvari won singles matches for Shawnee in WBL play. In doubles, Josh Thomas-Scott Jettinghoff and Carter Jones-Prudvi Battula won.
