LIMA — Lima Senior’s Stacia Allen didn’t bother to keep fans in suspense Saturday.



The senior Spartan entered Saturday’s game against Fremont Ross with 999 career points. After her first shot, she went past the 1,000-point mark.



Allen made her first four shots of the game, all 3-pointers, en route to scoring 19 points to help lift Lima Senior’s girls basketball team to a 58-35 victory over Ross in a Three Rivers Athletic Conference game. Allen now has 1,018 career points.



Allen, who played at LCC prior to this season, is the fifth Lima Senior girls player to reach 1,000 points. That list includes Tammy Williams (1,453 points, a 1989 graduate), Madinah Slaise (1,047, 1996 grad), Cobie Carlisle (1,377, 2002 grad) and Carin Horne (1,020, 2003).



Indiya Benjamin led Lima Senior in scoring with 24 points. The Spartans are 10-6 overall, 6-4 in the TRAC while Fremont Ross is 4-12, 0-10.



Leipsic 64, Bluffton 33



LEIPSIC — Amber Gerdeman led three Leipsic players in double figures as the Vikings beat visiting Bluffton in nonleague action.



Gerdeman scored 15 points for Leipsic (12-5), Haley Gerten had 13 points and Shalynn Morman scored 10 points. Anna Crisp scored 8 points for Bluffton (9-7).



Kalida 40, Miller City 31



MILLER CITY — Jackie Gardner netted 12 points and Kalida moved to 4-1 in the PCL (10-6 overall).



Summer Holtkamp scored 8 points and grabbed 8 rebounds for Kalida. Melissa Michel scored 16 points and grabbed 15 rebounds for Miller City (2-15, 0-6) while Haley Lammers had 8 boards. Michel now has 997 career points and will go for the 1,000-point milestone on Tuesday against visiting Paulding.



Ottoville 78, Delphos Jefferson 35



DELPHOS — Rachel Beining struck for 24 points and Ottoville stayed unbeaten at 17-0 overall. Ottoville led 28-9 after the first quarter. Abby Siefker scored 18 points for Ottoville and Rachel Turnwald scored 11 points. Hannah Sensibaugh scored 13 points for Jefferson (6-12) and Rileigh Stockwell scored 8 points.



Coldwater 57, Shawnee 54



COLDWATER — Brooke Welsch scored 19 points, grabbed 5 rebounds and had 3 assists to help Coldwater beat non-league visitor Shawnee. Sarah Kanney had 18 points and Hannah Bruns 10 points for the Cavaliers. Britt Lauck and Racel Evans had 14 points each for Shawnee, Abby Waddle scored 12 points and Isabelle Baird scored 11 points.



Continental 40, Pandora-Gilboa 39



PANDORA — Van Koppenhofer, Paige Ordway and Leva Weller scored 8 points apiece to lead Continental (11-5) to a narrow win over host P-G. Ashley Williams had 13 points, hitting three 3-pointers, and Megan Maag had 10 points for Pandora-Gilboa (11-6).



New Knoxville 46, St. Marys 32



ST. MARYS — New Knoxville streaked to an 18-6 lead after one quarter en route to the non-league win. Meg Reineke had 16 points for the Rangers and Catlin Magato scored 12 points. Reagan Aller had 9 points for the Roughriders.



USV 65, Hardin Northern 19



McGUFFEY — Ali Goldsmith scored 17 points and USV rolled to the victory. The Rams are 10-6 overall and Hardin Northern in 1-16.



Brittany Holbrook and Maura Griesheimer had 14 points apiece for USV. Kylee Hooker had 8 points for Hardin Northern.



Boys Basketball



Bath 93, Marion Harding 53



BATH TOWNSHIP — Taren Sullivan sizzled. The junior hit seven 3-pointers and scored a game-high 31 points for the Wildcats in the non-league win. Logan Rockhold and Conner Rockhold each had 13 points for Bath (13-3), Colin Gossard scored 10 points while both Cole Chambers and Doug Sanders had 9 points. Bath finished with 12 3-pointers and made 17-of-19 free throws.



Ottawa-Glandorf 54, Columbus Grove 35



OTTAWA — T.J. Metzger scored 16 points to pace the Titans to the non-league win, which raised their record to 14-1 overall. Michael Rosebrock had 11 points and 10 rebounds for O-G and Matthew Kaufman had 7 points and 5 assists. Derek Rieman finished with 10 points for Grove.



Perry 64, Allen East 63



HARROD — Jared Poling sunk five 3-pointers and scored 29 points to help Perry edge host Allen East in non-league action. Bruce Hodges scored 20 points for Perry and Raheem Johnson had 9. Tanner Richardson scored a jaw-dropping 35 points for Allen East (2-12).



Toledo Central Catholic 71, Elida 54



TOLEDO — Dakota Mathias scored 23 points for Elida in the non-league loss at Central Catholic. Aric Thompson scored 10 points for Elida (10-7, 5-0) and Lewis Gray had 8 points. Central Catholic improved to 10-2 overall.



LCC 84, Van Buren 42



VAN BUREN — Tre’on Johnson scored 20 points and dished out 11 assists as the T’birds had no problem with Van Buren. No other statistics were available.



Leipsic 40, Kalida 34



KALIDA — Leipsic stayed perfect in the PCL with the win at Kalida.



Taylor Reardon finished with 15 points for the Vikings (13-2, 4-0) and Dalton Buck finished with 11 points. Austin Horstman had 16 points for Kalida (4-10, 2-2) and Cody Mathew had 8 points.



Crestview 56, Continental 34



CONVOY — Connor Lautzenheiser lit it up for 16 points to lead the Knights to the non-league win. Tyson Bolenbaugh scored 10 points. Crestview is 13-2 overall while Continental is 5-9. Justin Halliwell and Chaz Slattman had 8 points apiece for the Pirates.



St. Marys 64, Sidney 44



ST. MARYS — Quinn Zaerr netted 24 points for the Roughriders while Garet Fledderjohann scored 14 points and Austin James had 12 points.



Coldwater 58, Celina 51



COLDWATER — Austin Bruns had 16 points and 11 rebounds for the Cavaliers, Adam Klosterman had 11 points and Brody Hoying scored 10 points. Ryan Hoyng finished with 20 points for Celina followed by Matt Buschur and Mason Ross with 9 each.



Waynesfield-Goshen 71, Hardin Northern 34



WAYNESFIELD — Lee Turner scored 16 points and 11 Tigers got in the scorebook in the win. Matt Motter had 10 points and Garrett Miller 8 for W-G (5-10). Hayden Bradley had 12 points for Hardin Northern.



Paulding 38, Ottoville 32



OTTOVILLE — Kyle Kauser scored 14 points for Paulding in the nonleague win. Brandt Landin and Luke Schimmoeller had 9 points apiece for the Big Green. Paulding is 13-3 while Ottoville is 6-10.
