WAYNESFIELD — Temple Christian remained unbeaten in the Northwest Central Conference with a 70-50 victory on Friday at Waynesfield-Goshen.

Temple is 6-3 overall, 3-0 in the NWCC while Waynesfield-Goshen falls to 3-4, 1-1.

Evan Sutton struck for 20 points for the Pioneers, Taylor Zwiebel had 17 points, Andrew Rhoad had 13 and Justin Kroehler scored 9. Lee Turner finished with 14 points for W-G and Matt Stillman scored 9 points.

Elida 63, St. Marys 44

ST. MARYS — Elida held a 44-40 lead after three quarters before going wild in the fourth, outscoring WBL host St. Marys 19-4 in the quarter for the win.

Dakota Mathias hit five 3-pointers and led all scorers with 25 points for Elida. Austin Allemeier had 15 points. Jarrett Taylor scored 12 points for the Roughriders and Austin James added 11 points.

Delphos St. John’s 55 Coldwater 41

COLDWATER — Delphos St. John’s started the MAC showdown at Coldwater with a 17-9 edge in the first quarter then finished it out with a 20-10 run in the fourth.

Curtis Geise scored 22 points and grabbed 7 boards for DSJ and Ryan Buescher had 14 points and 8 rebounds. Austin Bruns scored 15 points and had 5 rebounds for the Cavaliers while Mitch Heyne had 12 points.

Perry 76 Marion Catholic 49

MARION — Bruce Hodges scored a game-high 19 points to power Perry past Marion Catholic in an NWCC game.

Jared Poling drilled three 3-pointers and scored 17 points for the Commodores (3-5), Tae’Quan Callahan had 12 points and Raheem Johnson scored 10 points. Marion Catholic is 1-7 overall.

Columbus Grove 59, Lincolnview 49

COLUMBUS GROVE — Will Vorhees netted 28 points to lead the Bulldogs to the NWC victory. Jace Darbyshire scored 13 points and Derek Rieman had 9 points for Grove. Justis Dowdy scored 12 points for the Lancers (3-7, 1-2) and Kyle Williams had 11 points.

Van Wert 72, Kenton 57

VAN WERT — A.J. Smith went off for 28 points and the Cougars won the WBL battle at home. Smith hit three 3-pointers en route to the game-high and Joey Hurless and Kyle Keber both had 10 points for Van Wert (6-2). Grant Sherman scored 18 points for Kenton and Colyn Blackford scored 10 points.

Defiance 63, Celina 40

CELINA — Trey Guilliam’s 25 points paced Defiance to the WBL victory. Matt Buschur finished with 10 points for Celina and Ryan Hoyng scored 8 points.

Leipsic 92, Arcadia 40

ARCADIA — Zach Kuhlman netted 21 points and Leipsic improved to 7-1 overall, 2-0 in the BVC. Mitch Kuhlman scored 13 points for the Vikings, Austin Brown had 11 points and 6 rebounds and Devin Mangas scored 10 points.

Miller City 59 Patrick Henry 48

HAMLER — Austin Lammers scored 18 points for the Wildcats (6-3) in the nonleague win. Ross Kaufman had 17 points and 7 rebounds while Adam Niese had 7 points and 4 assists.

Minster 48 Marion Local 31

MINSTER — Adam Niemeyer scored 16 points and Devon Poeppelman scored 15 points for Minster in the MAC victory. Adam Bertke had 10 points for the Flyers.

St. Henry 50 New Knoxville 46

ST. HENRY — Kyle Stahl scored 18 points for St. Henry in the MAC win. Ryan Allen led all scorers with 24 points.

New Bremen 65 Fort Recovery 61

FORT RECOVERY — Carson Manger netted 25 points for New Bremen, Ben Homan had 13 points and 11 rebounds and Luke Schwieterman had 10 points. Wade Gelhaus had 26 points and 13 rebounds for Fort Recovery and Elijah Kahlig scored 19 points.

Liberty-Benton 101 Hardin Northern 24

BENTON RIDGE — Ryan Geise had 20 points to lead Liberty-Benton (6-1) and both Jacob Gossard and Hayden Bradley scored 8 points for Hardin Northern (1-8).

Crestview 50, Ottoville 37

CONVOY — Crestview claimed the non-league victory over visiting Ottoville. No other statistics were available.
