TOLEDO — Lima Senior came home with an impressive road win to open Three Rivers Athletic Conference play, beating Toledo St. Francis De Sales 79-64 on Friday. The Spartans improved to 2-1 overall.

Rico Stafford scored 17 points to lead the Spartans, Ruben Flowers scored 14 points, Isiah Simpson had 13 points and Damariante Dillingham scored 10 points.

Temple Christian 45, Parkway 38

LIMA — Temple Christian grabbed its first victory of the season, knocking off visiting Parkway 45-38 in a boys basketball game on Friday.

Justin Kroehler scored 14 points for the Pioneers (1-2), Andrew Rhoad finished with 12 points and Evan Sutton scored 10 points. Brent Varna scored 10 points for Parkway (0-3) while Austin Dennison scored 8 points.

Wapakoneta 74, Ada 26

WAPAKONETA — Alex Greve and Travis Bertram each scored 19 points to help Wapakoneta cruise to a nonleague victory.

Jake Buzzard scored 12 points for Wapak (3-1), which made 21-of-27 free throws (78 percent). Austin Dumbaugh and Spencer Archer were the top Ada scorers with 5 apiece. Ada is 0-2.

Miller City 64, Ayersville 43

MILLER CITY — Miller City is 2-0 after the nonleague win. Ross Kaufman had 16 points for Miller City, Austin Lammers scored 13 for Miller City, Adam Drummeslmith had 10 points and Ross Vennekotter had 7 points and 7 boards.

Continental 42, Hicksville 28

CONTINENTAL — Chaz Slattman finished with 15 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Pirates to the easy nonleague win. Leading 20-16 at half, Continental outscored Hicksville 13-2 in the third quarter. Justin Halliwill scored 16 points for Continental (2-1).

Fort Recovery 48, Delphos Jefferson 37

FORT RECOVERY — Wade Gelhaus lit it up for 20 points and 13 rebounds for Fort Recovery in the win over visiting Delphos Jefferson. Elijah Kahlig scored 20 points for Fort Recovery. Trey Smith and Ross Thomson had 11 points each for Jefferson.

St. Henry 71, St. Marys 48

ST. HENRY — Kyle Stahl scored 20 points as St. Henry won the nonleague game. Ryan Mikesell and Jordan Bender each scored 16 points for the Redskins and Alex Post had 13 points. Garet Fledderjohann scored 14 points and Quinn Zaerr had 8 points for St. Marys.

Van Wert 43, Ottoville 37

OTTOVILLE — Joey Hurless scored 13 points and the Cougars claimed a nonleague win. A.J. Smith finished with 11 points for Van Wert while Derek Schimmoeller had 11 points for Ottoville. Ryan Honigford and Luke Schimmoeller had 10 points apiece for the Big Green. Van Wert improves to 2-1 while Ottoville is 1-1.

Defiance 47, Paulding 44

PAULDING — Defiance’s Tory Guilliam had 19 points and Katwon Singleton had 13 points. Lance Foor scored 19 points and Kyle Kauser added 11 for Paulding (2-1).

New Knoxville 76, Waynesville-Goshen 46

WAYNESFIELD — Isaac Kuntz finished with 19 points and New Knoxville improved to 1-1 with the nonleague win. Andrew Arnett and Ryan Lageman scored 17 apiece for the Rangers. Lee Turner had 12 points for the Tigers (2-2) and Shawn Crawford had 11 points.
