Benjamin also had eight steals and eight assists. Rian Thompson added 20 points and two 3-pointers. Stacia Allen had 10 points and two 3-pointers.



Kiera Hall led Fremont Ross with 18 points. Ariana Spencer scored 14.



Lima Senior is 4-1, 3-0 in the Three Rivers Athletic Conference. Fremont Ross is 1-4, 0-3 in the TRAC.



Lima Senior led 18-11 after the first quarter and 31-18 at the half. The Spartans took a 41-28 lead into the final quarter.



 



Girls basketball



New Bremen 39, Botkins 26



New Bremen’s Kyla Otting tossed in 12 points, with two 3-pointers, to lead the Cardinals to a non-league win over Botkins.



Haley Moeller added 10 points for New Bremen (2-4).



New Bremen led 13-4 after the first quarter and 22-13 at the half.



 



Boys basketball



Paulding 80, Montpelier 31



Paulding’s Kyle Kauser knocked down three 3-pointers in his 21-point night to power the Panthers over Montpelier. He scored 14 at the half when Paulding led 48-18.



Neil Roehrig added 14 points, while Lance Foor scored 11 for the Panthers.



Paulding is 3-2. Montpelier is 1-3.



Paulding won the rebounds, 33-24. The Panthers shot 52 percent from the field, while Montpelier hit 24 percent.



Paulding also forced Montpelier into 26 turnovers. Paulding had 11 turnovers.



 



Wrestling



Columbus Grove 54, Ottawa-Glandorf 18



Columbus Grove lifted its dual record to 7-0 with a non-league win over Ottawa-Glandorf.



Columbus Grove notched five pins, while O-G had two pins.
