ELIDA — Shawnee right-hander Tyler Anderson struck out 11 to help the Indians post an 11-1 Western Buckeye League baseball win over Elida.



Anderson gave up one run on two hits. He walked two. At the plate, Anderson went 2 for 2.



Jake Porter struck out nine and walked two for Elida.



Shawnee is 6-5, 3-0 in the WBL. Elida is 0-13, 0-4 in the WBL.



Lima Central Catholic 12, Fort Jennings 2



LIMA — Lima Central Catholic third baseman Luke Baumbartner went 2 for 2 with three RBIs in the T-Birds’ six-inning, run-rule win over Fort Jennings.



Aaron Wilker picked up the win for LCC. He struck out four and walked five.



T-Birds’ pitchers combined for a one-hitter. Corey O’Dowd went three innings and Wilker finished up by tossing the last three innings.



LCC’s Ben Stolly hit his area-leading third home run of the year.



LCC is 10-5. Fort Jennings is 4-8.



Parkway 13, Spencerville 2



SPENCERVILLE — Parkway’s Jordan Stephenson tossed a two-hitter in the Panthers’ non-league win over Spencerville.



Stephenson (3-0) struck out six and walked one.



Parkway’s Jack Roth went 3 for 4.



Parkway is 6-6. Spencerville is 1-8.



Columbus Grove 5, Kalida 2



COLUMBUS GROVE — Columbus Grove’s Trey Roney gave up two unearned runs in a win over Kalida.



Roney gave up five hits, struck out six and walked none. Austin Swift took the loss for Kalida.



Columbus Grove’s Brandon Benroth went 1 for 4 with a double and three RBIs. Mason Smith went 2 for 3.



The Bulldogs are 10-1, 3-1 in the PCL. Kalida is 2-7, 1-2 in the PCL.



Delphos St. John’s 7, Marion Local 4



DELPHOS — Delphos St. John’s Andrew Metzger had three hits in a victory over Marion Local.



Curtis Geise (3-1) earned the victory.



The Blue Jays are 4-7, 1-2 in the MAC. Marion Local is 5-11, 0-3 in the MAC.



Upper Scioto Valley 5, Fairbanks 2



MILFORD CENTER — Upper Scioto Valley scored three in the seventh to break up a 2-2 tie and pull out a road win over Fairbanks.



Blake Watkins gave up five hits to notch the win. USV’s Shayne Rofe hit a two-run home run. Watkins went 3 for 4.



USV is 4-5, 2-2 in the NWCC.



Toledo Whitmer 4, Lima Senior 1



LIMA — Toledo Whitmer’s Luke Hickey scattered seven hits in a win over Lima Senior.



For the Spartans, Aaron Reed had two singles. Khory Williams had two singles and an RIB.



Lima Senior is 0-6.



Ottawa-Glandorf 5, Kenton 2



OTTAWA — Ottawa-Glandorf’s Jaylen Von Sossan tossed a three-hitter in a win over kenton.



Von Sossan (2-0) gave up two runs, both unearned, on three hits. He struck out seven and walked one.



O-G’s Brad Croy had three hits. Travis Downing had two of his team’s three hits for Kenton.



O-G is 8-2, 1-2 in the WBL. Kenton is 5-9, 0-3 in the WBL.



Van Wert 3, Bath 1



BATH TOWNSHIP — Van Wert’s Brandt Henry gave up four hits in a win over Bath.



Caleb Norton (3-2) took the loss.



Van Wert’s Joey Hurless went 2 for 3. Bath’s Eric Heffner went 2 for 3.



Bath is 10-6, 3-1 in the WBL.



Crestview 7, Continental 0



CONVOY — Crestview’s Nick Thomas held Continental to three hits in a victory over the Pirates.



Crestview’s Isaiah Simmerman had a double and two RBIs.



Crestview is 6-3, 3-0 in the NWC. Continental is 0-9.



Miller City 5, McComb 4



MILLER CITY — Miller City’s Ross Lehman had a home run and four RBIs to power the Wildcats over McComb.



Lehman had two hits on the day. Ross Kaufman had two singles.



Kaufman also earned the win, giving up four runs, three earned, on six hits. He struck out eight and walked two in 6.1 innings.



Ottoville 6, Pandora-Gilboa 5



OTTOVILLE — Ottoville’s Bryan Hohlbein struck out six in a win over Pandora-Gilboa.



The Rockets’ Reed Hovest had a two-run home run. Alex Horstman had a two-run home run for Ottoville.



P-G is 5-4, 2-1 in the PCL. Ottovile is 4-4, 3-1 in the PCL.



Ottoville’s Luke Schimmoeller had two hits. The Rockets’ Abe Basinger had two hits.



Vanlue 7, Perry 2



PERRY TOWNSHIP — Vanlue’s Josh Clymer struck out 10 in a win over Perry.



For Perry, Corey Smith and R.J. King went 2 for 3. Chad Hensen went 2 for 4.



Perry is 6-7.



Clymer (4-0) walked two.

Perry 3, Vanlue 0



PERRY TOWNSHIP — Perry’s Abbie Patton struck out nine in a victory over Vanlue.



Patton (8-5) gave up three hits. At the plate, Patton had a triple. Levie Turman went 3 for 3.



Miller City 1, Ottoville 0



MILLER CITY — Miller City’s Liz Schimmoeller tossed a five-hitter to lead the Wildcats over Ottoville.



Schimmoeller struck out three and walked two.



Miller City’s Morgan Inkrott had two singles.



Miller City scored its only run in the bottom of the seventh on an RBI single by Liz Klear to score Janke Van Wezel.



Miller City is 2-6, 2-0 in the PCL.



Continental 6, Columbus Grove 5



COLUMBUS GROVE — Continental pulled out a 10-inning victory over Columbus Grove.



Bobbi Heckel picked up the win and struck out nine.



Kyrah Yinger went 3 for 6 for the Bulldogs. Taylor Williamson went 2 for 4 with three RBIs for the Pirares. Sloane Zachrich went 2 for 3.



Bath 18, Van Wert 2



VAN WERT — Bath’s Kimmy Reynolds fired a three-hitter in the Wildkittens’ win over Van Wert.



Bath shortstop Camille Martin had three hits with two doubles. Abbie Price had three hits with a triple. Jenna Hollar also had three hits for Bath.



Bath (13-1, 3-0 WBL) knocked out 14 hits.



Boys tennis



Lima Central Catholic 3, Bryan 2



Lima Central Catholic posted a win in the team tournament.



LCC picked up singles wins from Alex Swick, Zach Schroeder and Dylan Niese.



LCC is 5-5. Bryan is 7-3.



Ottawa-Glandorf 4, Kenton 1



KENTON — Ottawa-Glandorf rolled to a victory over Kenton.



O-G swept the singles slots with wins for Alex Schroeder, Zach Bruskotter and Brandon Hempfling.



Og-s is 7-1, 4-0 in the WBL.
