DELPHOS -- Kalida jumped out to an early lead and held off Delphos St. John's 9-6 in a non-league baseball game Monday at Stadium Park.

Kyle Kehres picked up the win. He struck out three and walked three. Kehres also had four RBIs.

Kalida's Austin Swift had three hits with a double.

Kalida scored two in the top of the first and three more in the second to take a 5-0 lead. Kalida added three in the fifth to expand its lead to 9-2. St. John's got within 9-6 with a three-run sixth.

Kalida had 13 hits, while St. John's had eight hits. The Blue Jays made three errors.

St. John's Curtis Geise had a double and triple.

Lima Central Catholic 11, Ada 1

ADA -- Lima Central Catholic's Colin Stolly earned the victory and had a solid day at the plate in a win over Ada.

Stolly (2-0) went two innings of relief and struck out five.

LCC is 4-3, 1-0 in the Northwest Conference. Ada is 2-3, 0-1 in the NWC.

LCC pounded out 14 hits.

Stolly had two hits and three RBIs. Watkins, Connor Dee and Corey O'Dowd all had two hits for the T-Birds. Ben Stolly had two hits and a home run.

Miller City 15, Fort Jennings 1

FORT JENNINGS -- Miller City knocked out 16 hits in a victory over Fort Jennings.

Jackson Lammers (2-0) picked up the win. He gave up one run on four hits in five innings. Lammers struck out six and walked three.

Ross Kaufman had three singles for the Wildcats. Ross Lehman and Adam Drummelsmith both had home runs. Drummelsmith and Logan Dukes both had two hits for Miller City.

Miller City is 5-2.

Upper Scioto Valley 11, Waynesfield-Goshen 5

MCGUFFEY -- Upper Scioto Valley pounded out 16 hits in a victory over Waynesfield-Goshen.

USV's Blake Watkins went 4 for 5 with a double. Sean Hale (1-1) struck out five in the win.

Fort Recovery 4, South Adams 1

FORT RECOVERY -- Fort Recovery's Chad Schroer gave up five hits over five innings in a win over South Adams.

Collin O'Dell and Jacob Muhlenkamp both had two hits for the Indians (9-3).

Shawnee 12, Leipsic 3

LEIPSIC -- Shawnee's Cory Wilder notched a non-league victory at Leipsic.

Leipsic's Daniel DeLaRosa had a home run for the Vikings.

Shawnee is 3-3. Leipsic is 3-3.

Ottoville 6, Continental 4

OTTOVILLE -- Ottoville's Brandon Boecker slammed a walk-off, two-run home run to lift the Big Green over Continental in eight innings.

Ottoville's Bryan Hohlbein and Continental's Tyler Dockery both had three hits.

Ottoville's Derek Schimmoeller worked the first seven innings and gave up four runs on two hits. He struck out 10 and walked two. Alex Horstman pitched the eighth to notch the win.

Ottoville is 2-3, 1-1 in the Putnam County League.

Ridgemont 4, Perry 0

PERRY TOWNSHIP -- Ridgemont's Tyler Tillman struck out six in a three-hit victory over Perry.

Tillman walked three.

Cory Smith took the loss, but struck out 10.

Perry's Ben Sanders had two hits.

Coldwater 12, Ansonia 0

COLDWATER -- Coldwater's Grant Muhlenkamp picked up the win in four innings of work. He struck out eight.

Coldwater's Matt Selhorst went 2 for 2 with a double and three RBI. Brody Hoying had a double and scored three runs.

Malave Bettinger had a two-run double. Christian Schramm had a home runs and three RBIs.

Coldwater is 7-1.

Lincolnview 7, Delphos Jefferson 2

MIDDLE POINT -- Lincolnview's Conner McCleery, Matt Oechsle and Tyler Richey all had two hits in a win over Delphos Jefferson.

Eli Farmer picked up the win. He has thrown two complete games and given up a total of two runs.

Crestview 10, Paulding 0

PAUDLING -- Crestview's Damion Helm struck out 13 in a six-hit win over Paulding.

Helm had two hits for Crestview.

Quentin Vance had three hits for Paulding.

Crestview is 3-3, 1-0 in the NWC. Paulding is 0-6, 0-1 in the NWC.

Versailles 4, Celina 3

VERSAILLES -- Versailles Lee Ruhlenkamp gave up three runs, but only one earned, in a victory over Celina.

Cody Vogel went 2 for 3 with two runs for Celina.

Craig Langenkamp pitched the seventh for the save.

Defiance 6, Parkway 1

DEFIANCE -- Defiance's Weston Rivers struck out nine and lifted his record to 3-0.

Rivers struck out nine and walked none.

Defiance is 7-0. Parkway is 4-4.

Ottawa-Glandorf 9, Wayne Trace 2

GLANDORF -- Ottawa-Glandorf's Matt Warnecke lifted his record to 3-0 with a non-league win over Wayne Trace.

The Titans' Tyler Zender had three doubles and three RBIs. Drew Schierloh had two home runs and three RBIs. Brad Croy had two hits.

Ayersville 4, Elida 1

ELIDA -- Ayersville held Elida to four hits in a non-league win.

Elida dropped to 0-10.


Allen East 6, Bluffton 4

HARROD -- Aubren Davis picked up the win and Kaycee Rowe notched the save in Allen East's win over Bluffton.

Allen East led 3-0 after three innings, then held on to the end.

Allen East is 7-3, 1-0 in the Northwest Conference. Bluffton is 2-5, 0-1 in the NWC.

Notre Dame 13, Lima Senior 0

TOLEO -- Toledo Notre Dame's Jenna Inman tossed a two-hit victory over Lima Senior.

Notre Dame is 3-3, 1-0 in the Three Rivers Athletic Conference. Lima Senior is 0-3, 1-0 in the TRAC.

Parkway 6, Marion Local 1

ROCKFORD -- Parkway pitcher Sierra Fent scattered six hits and struck out nine in a victory over Marion Local.

At the plate, Fent went 3 for 3 with a double. Terra Walls was 2 for 2.

Parkway is 5-3, 1-0 in the Midwest Athletic Conference. Marion Local is 2-4, 0-1 in the MAC.

Perry 9, Ridgemont 2

PERRY TOWNSHIP -- Perry pitcher Abbie Patton struck out 10 in a victory over Ridgemont.

Patton gave up two runs on eight hits.

Patton had three hits with a double.

Ridgemont's Keysten Creamer had three singles.

Versailles 7, New Bremen 6

NEW BREMEN -- Versailles scored two runs in the top of the seventh, then held off a two-run seventh for New Bremen to post the win.

Versailles is 8-1, 1-0 in the MAC. New Bremen is 4-4, 0-1 in the MAC.

Tinora 11, Continental 10

CONTINENTAL -- Tinora edged Continental in a non-league game.

Leva Weller took the loss for the Pirates. Weller did go 3 for 4 with two triples and three RBIs.

The Pirates are 4-2.

Minster 6, Coldwater 2

COLDWATER -- Minster's Kayla Richard picked up a four-hit victory over Coldwater.

Richard gave up two runs on four hits. She struck seven and walked one.

Minster is 4-3, 1-0 in the MAC. Coldwater is 3-4, 0-1 in the MAC.

St. Henry 7, Fort Recovery 5

ST. HENRY -- St. Henry's Janelle Schwieterman went 2 for 3 with two runs to help the Redskins knock off Fort Recovery.

Lincolnview 13, Delphos Jefferson 1

DELPHOS -- Lincolnview's Ashley McClure threw four no-hit innings in a victory over Delphos Jefferson.

McClure (5-0) struck out five and walked one.

The Lancers are 6-0, 1-0 in the NWC.

Ottawa-Glandorf 14, Miller City 1

MILLER CITY -- Ottawa-Glandorf's Michelle Sdao and Megan Kitchen both went 4 for 5 as the Titans steamrolled Miller City.

Kelly Selhorst went 3 for 4 for the Titans. O-G knocked out 18 hits.

Megan Kitchen picked up the win. She gave up one run, unearned, on five hits. Kitchen struck out seven and walked one.

The Titans are 4-0. Miller City is 1-4.

Waynesfield-Goshen 28, Upper Scioto Valley 1

MCGUFFEY -- Waynesfield-Goshen's Paige Crawford tossed a five-inning no-hitter in a win over USV.

The Tigers banged out 28 hits. Chelsea Spencer had a double, triple and a home run.

Waynesfield is 1-5.

Crestview 6, Paulding 1

PAULDING -- Crestview's Terra Crowle tossed a three-hit victory over Paulding.

Crowle struck out five and walked four.

Kirstin Hicks had two hits for the Knights (6-1, 1-0 NWC). Paulding is 1-5, 0-1 NWC.

Ada 5, Lima Central Catholic 4

ADA -- Ada scored two runs in the bottom of the seventh to knock off Lima Central Catholic at War Memorial Park.

Alexis Gonzaga had the game-winning RBI single in the home seventh.

Alexis Amburgey (3-3) picked up the win. She struck out four and walked four.

Ada's Sam Wildman had a double and two RBIs. LCC's Meredith Shepherd had two hits with a double. Meredith Niese had two hits with two RBIs.

Boys tennis

Lima Central Catholic 4, Defiance 1

LIMA -- Lima Central Catholic swept all three singles spots in a win over Defiance at the Collett Street Courts.

Alex Swick, Zach Schroeder and Dylan Niese all had singles wins for the T-Birds (4-2).

St. Marys 3, Greenville 2

GREENVILLE -- St. Marys earned a non-league win over Greenville.

St. Marys picked up singles wins with Cole Brooks (No. 1) and Jason Freewalt (No. 2).

St. Marys is 3-4.
