COLUMBUS GROVE — The host Bulldogs improved to 6-1 in the Northwest Conference with a 59-26 girls high school basketball victory Thursday night against Allen East.

Grove, which is tied with Spencerville for first in the NWC, held an 18-9 lead at the end of the first quarter that grew to 41-12 by halftime. Carlee McCluer (23), Lauren Schroeder (11) and Rylee Sybert (10) each scored in double digits for the Bulldogs (10-8). Lauren Cribblez led the Mustangs (9-9, 2-6 NWC) with nine points.

Elgin 62,

Upper Scioto Valley 57 (OT)

MARION — Kaycee Carroll reached 1,000 points in her varsity career for Upper Scioto Valley (4-14, 2-4 NWCC). For the game, Carroll had 24 points and teammate Haley Hunsicker scored 17.

Lincolnview 42, Ada 35

MIDDLE POINT — Lincolnview (10-11, 2-5 NWC) held a 25-12 advantage at halftime. Maddie Gorman had 13 points and Olivia Gorman scored 12 for Lincolnview. Individual stats for Ada (4-15, 0-7 NWC) were not reported by deadline.

Waynesfield-Goshen 56,

Hardin Northern 26

WAYNESFIELD — W-G held a 21-3 lead at the end of the first period. Aubrey Biederman had 22 points and Megan Barden and Kayla Wicker each scored seven for Waynesfield-Goshen (6-13, 3-4 Northwest Central Conference). Kaylynn Cook and Maddie Grappy each had eight points for Hardin Northern (2-17, 1-6 NWCC).

Leipsic 57, Cory-Rawson 21

LEIPSIC — Heather Lammers of the host Vikings (18-1, 9-1 Blanchard Valley Conference) reached 1,000 points for her varsity career. Lammers finished with 23 points in the game and teammate Kierra Meyer scored 14. Zoe Chisholm had seven points for C-R (4-17, 1-9 BVC).

Lima Senior 50

LIMA — Nakiya Sigman had 17 points and Destiny McDonald scored 11 for the host Spartans (10-11, 5-8 Three Rivers Athletic Conference).

St. Marys 73, Celina 54

CELINA — Syd Cisco (23), Makenna Mele (16) and Haley Felver (11) each scored in double digits for the visiting Roughriders (9-11, 3-5 Western Buckeye League). Carley Eichler had 15 points and Makenna Klingshirn scored 10 for Celina (2-19, 0-8 WBL).

Bath 62, Van Wert 32

VAN WERT — Jaidyn Hale had 22 points and Elyssabette Andrews scored nine for the visiting Wildkittens (16-4, 6-2 WBL). Abby Jackson and Caylee Phillips each had eight points for the Cougars (6-14, 2-6 WBL).

Ottawa-Glandorf 43, Kenton 33

KENTON — O-G (18-2) clinched the WBL title outright with an 8-0 league mark. No other information was reported about this game by deadline.

Wapakoneta 48, Defiance 44

DEFIANCE — The Redskins (13-7, 6-2 WBL) moved into a tie for second place in the conference and eliminated Defiance (15-4, 6-2) from the race for the league championship. Sarah Pothast had 19 points and Lexi Jacobs scored 11 for Wapak.

Crestview 62, Paulding 31

PAULDING — Lyvia Black (15), Lexi Gregory (13) and Paige Motycka (11) each scored in double digits for the visiting Knights (14-6, 5-2 NWC). Audrey Manz had 14 points and Cassidy Posey scored 11 for the Panthers (6-14, 2-5 NWC).

New Bremen 39, Parkway 26

ROCKFORD — Jane Homan had 10 points and Paige Jones scored eight for New Bremen (15-5, 4-4 Midwest Athletic Conference). Sydney Crouch had 11 points and Bailey Bates scored eight for Parkway (10-10, 2-6 MAC).

Minster 45, New Knoxville 20

MINSTER — Ivy Wolf had 11 points and Taylor Kogge scored nine for the host Wildcats (16-3, 7-1 MAC). Erin Scott had seven points and Morgan Leffel scored six for the Rangers (6-16, 0-8 MAC). Nikki Keller had seven points and Cora Stammen scored six for the Redskins (12-9, 3-5 MAC).

Versailles 56, St. Henry 34

VERSAILLES — Elizabeth Ording (13), Kami McEldowney (12) and Danielle Winner (10) each scored in double digits as the Tigers (20-1) clinched the MAC title with a 9-0 conference mark.

ELIDA — Shawnee’s Soloman Bryant (195 pounds) and Bobby Grothjan (285) and Elida’s Ethan Grimm (113), Bailey Gibson (132) and Tyson Williamson (220) all won by pin.
