ST. MARYS — Syd Cisco (25), Makenna Mele (13) and Jill Schmitmeyer (10) each scored in double digits as the host Roughriders defeated Van Wert 71-61 in girls high school basketball Thursday night.

Caylee Phillips and Reagan Priest each had 13 points and Abby Jackson scored 11 for the Cougars.

Elida 54, Celina 46

CELINA — Elida’s Shyah Wheeler scored 18 to move within six points of 1,000 for her career for the visitors. Cienna Kuhn contributed 14 points for Elida.

Lauren Jackson had 21 points and Maddy Luebke scored nine for Celina.

Toledo Central Catholic 59,

Lima Senior 49

TOLEDO — Latoine Cowan had 13 points, Nakiya Sigman scored 12 and Destiny McDonald finished with nine points for Lima Senior.

Elgin 76, Perry 25

MARION — Tia Barfield had 12 points and Lilly Floyd scored 10 for Perry.

SHAWNEE TOWNSHIP — Sarah Pothast (14), Lexi Jacobs (13) and Makenzie Wilson (12) all scored in double digits for the visiting Redskins. Tessa Jordan had 11 points and Eliyana Floyd scored 10 for Shawnee.

Marion Local 28

MARIA STEIN — Jane Homan and Kelly Naylor each had 14 points for New Bremen. Heidi Rethman had 10 points and Kara Evers and Natalie Rethman each scored nine for Marion Local.

Coldwater 55, New Knoxville 36

NEW KNOXVILLE — Lauren Gilliland had 15 points, 14 rebounds, three assists and three steals, Kourtney Diller had 15 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals and Maura Hoying had eight points, five rebounds, five assists and five steals for the visiting Cavaliers.

Versailles 59, Parkway 30

ROCKFORD — Sydney Crouch led Parkway with 17 points.

MT. BLANCHARD — Sami Roth had 12 points for Cory-Rawson.

ANNA — Breah Kuck had 18 points and Abby Gaydosh scored nine for the host Rockets. Sarah Bergman had nine points for Botkins.

WAPAKONETA — Ethan Anderson (160 pounds) and Howie Perkins (182) recorded pins for the visiting Indians. Caleb Hall (120), Luke Beach (138) and Evan Kaek (220) each won by pin for Wapak.
