LIMA — Lima Senior’s Colton Fry and Lima Central Catholic’s Xanan Ruiz each scored a goal in a 1-1 boys soccer match Saturday at Spartan Stadium.

Lima Senior’s Micah Rex had three saves and LCC’s Jack Zerante had a pair of saves in goal for their respective schools.

NEW KNOXVILLE — Chris Covert scored the match’s only goal on assist by Joesph Baende. Nathan Merges made six saves to earn the shutout in goal.

Bath 0

BATH TOWNSHIP — The visitors won 25-14, 25-23, 25-17. Eden Adkins had six kills and two blocks and Annika Heminger had nine digs for Bath. Ayron McClurg had four aces, 12 assists and five digs, Macy Wallace had five aces, eight kills and eight digs, Sarah Miller had eight kills and seven digs and Courtney Teman had 13 assists for Jefferson.

Bluffton 1, Riverdale 1

MT. BLANCHARD — Kayla White scored Bluffton’s goal and teammate Hannah Yost made 13 saves in goal.

Lima Senior 1,

Delphos St. John’s 0

LIMA — Maddie O’Connell scored the game’s lone goal and teammate Morgan Twining made 15 saves.

Girls golf

LCC Lady Thunderbird Invitational

St. Ursula (Scarlet Division) and Tippecanoe (Turquiose Division) won the team titles at Lost Creek.

Bluffton’s Alivia Koenig was the medalist among the teams in the Turquiose competition with an 82.

LCC, led by Mary Kelly Mulcahy’s 82, was sixth in the Scarlet competition. Shawnee was fourth and Bluffton seventh in the Turquoise event. Raegan Wheeler led Shawnee with a 92.

Versailles Invitational

Jack Romer’s fifth score 0f 92 won the tiebreaker and the title for St. Henry at Stillwater Golf Club. Medalist Kyle Naumann (75), Seth King (87), Ryan Grieshop (88) and Reed Koester (91) also contributed to the winning score.

Girls cross country

Marion Invitational

MARION, Ind. — Competing in the Small School division race, Coldwater defeated 19 other schools on the home course of the Indiana Wesleyan cross country teams to take home the first-place trophy. Leading the way for the Cavs was Beth Honigford who finished sixth overall with teammate Sarah Honigford coming in ninth.
