Roundup: Elida shuts out Bath in boys soccer

BATH TOWNSHIP — Corbin Fingerle scored both goals as Elida defeated Bath 2-0 in boys soccer Thursday night.

LCC 8, Spencerville 0

SPENCERVILLE — Ben Brinkman had three goals, Xanan Ruiz had two and Josiah Simpson, Skyler Corso and Michael Briggs had one each. Trey Horstman contributed two assists and Jack Zerante got the shutout in goal.

Jackson Center 6, Allen East 1

HARROD — Gavin Booser had three goals and Allen East’s Ethan Grant and Jackson Center’s Parker Morris, Trevor Sosby and Clay Akers had one each.

Kalida 1, Fort Jennings 0

KALIDA — Evan Roebke scored the match’s only goal and Brayden Recker got the shutout in goal.

Ada 11 Old Fort 1

ADA — Logan Williams and Chris Reyes had three goals each, Nate Allen and Jacob Poling each had two goals and Miguel Jordan scored one for Ada. Reyes and Noah Pinkney each had two assists.

St. Marys 3, Ottawa-Glandorf 0

GLANDORF — Evan Vogel had two goals and Howie Spencer scored one. Luke Vondrell made 10 saves to earn the shutout in goal.

SPENCERVILLE — The Bearcats fell 25-13, 25-18, 25-12. Emily Stumbaugh had five kills and Abby Satterfield and Julie Mulholland had four each for the hosts.

Miller City 3, Patrick Henry 2

MILLER CITY — The Wildcats won 27-25, 11-25, 25-23, 25-22. Adrienne Kuhlman had eight kills and 27 digs, Brittany Kuhlman had 22 digs and 13 assists and Abbey Schroeder had 30 digs for Miller City.

Kalida 3, Van Wert 0

Tori Niese had 12 kills and nine digs, Morgan Mock had 10 kills and 11 digs and Tara Gerding had 32 assists for Kalida.

Leipsic 3, Pandora-Gilboa 0

LEIPSIC — The Vikings won 25-10, 25-9, 25-14. Hayley Heitmeyer had 17 kills and four blocks, Kierra Meyer had nine kills, 16 digs, two aces and four blocks, Kacey Dulle had 18 digs and four aces and Lyndie Hazelton had 18 assists for the hosts. Addilyn Diller had 16 assists, Paige Fenstermaker had nine kills and two blocks and Madison Hovest had nine digs for P-G.

DELPHOS — Julia Meyer and Ally Richardson had two goals each and Allen East’s Sophia Silone, Kinsey Helser, Madison Houston, Lakin Basham and Gabby Scott and Delphos Jefferson’s Emily Bitsberger each had one. Meyer also had three assists.

OTTAWA — Isaiah Bolon (37), Hunter Iiames (41), Jeremiah Bolon (43) and Andrew Cook (43) combined for the winning scores at Pike Run. O-G’s Austin Radcliff was medalist with a 1-over-par 36.
