Lima Central Catholic wins girls golf tri match

OTTAWA — Medalist Mary Kelly Mulcahy shot a 37 in leading Lima Central Catholic to a girls golf tri match victory Thursday against Van Buren and Leipsic at Pike Run Golf Club.

Erin Mulcahy (40), Meghan Mulcahy (44) and Callie Koenig and Hannah Garber (47 each) also contributed to the Thunderbirds’ team total of 168. Van Buren finished at 188 and Leipsic had a 236 score.

Hannah Goedde led Leipsic with a 51.

Parkway 194, Antwerp 235

WOODBURN, Indiana — Parkway’s Haylee Stukey was medalist with a 43 at Pond-A-River Golf Club. Mecaylah Hesse (47), Autumn Ellis (49) amd Lauren Henderson (55) also were part of the Panthers’ winning total.

Coldwater 233,

Delphos Jefferson 252

Coldwater’s Payton Kunk was medalist with a 53 at the Mercer County Elks, Emma Eckstein (58), Lexi Wright (60) and Sarah Diller (62) were also part of the Cavaliers’ winning effort. Sydnie McGue led Delphos Jefferson with a 56. Riley Smith recorded a hole in one for Jefferson.

Versailles Invitational

St. Henry finished third with a 395 total behind Tipp City (391) and Versailles (393). Ellen Naumann led St. Henry with a 91.

Greenville Invitational

GREENVILLE — Van Wert finished seventh in the 12-team event with a score of 375. Beaver Creek, led by a 77 from medalist Alex Flick, was the team winner with a 327 followed by Troy (333). Van Wert’s Jared Hernandez tied for fourth individually with a 77.

DEFIANCE — Medalist Christian Nartker shot a 72 in leading Kalida to a team total of 321, good for second place behind Archbold (301). Paulding (341) finished fourth in the 18-team event at Auglaize Golf Club.

Josh Recker (75), Josh Klausing (83) and Alec Edelbrock (91) also contributed to Kalida’s team score.

Paulding’s Chad Carper (76), Allen East’s Grant Whitley (84) and Delphos Jefferson’s Logan Gallmeier (92) had the low rounds for their respective schools.

Arlington 194, Bluffton 198

FINDLAY — Bluffton’s Aaron Belcher was medalist with a 40 at Sycamore Springs Golf Course.

Ada 247, Ridgemont 259

Jake Colwell led Ada with a 59. No other Ada scores were reported by deadline. Carson James paced Ridgemont with a 54.
