July 30, 2007: VAN WERT -- Crime Stoppers will pay you cash for information if it will help the Van Wert Police Department solve the burglary to a home in the 700 block of Prospect Avenue in the City of Van Wert.
 On Sunday, May 13, 2007 between the hours of 5:45p.m nad 9:45 p.m. someone illegally entered a home in the 700 block of Prospect Avenue. Once inside the home thieves removed women's jewelry from the residence. Among items taken were a heart-shaped gold necklace with diamonds and emeralds, and a pair of children's earrings.

On Thursday, July 5, 2007 between the hours of 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. someone made forcible entry into a residence in the 13000 block of Convoy Heller Road in Willshire Township. Once inside the residence the intruders took money from the home.

 Between the hours of 5:00 p.m. March 16th and 9:00 a.m. MArch 17th 2007 someone made forcible entry to the offices of Women's Healthcare at 1179 Westwood Drive. Entry was gained by breaking out a window to the business. Once inside the intruders took a small amount of cash.

 Sometime between 2:00 a.m. and 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, May 30th 2007 someone broke into the Sophisti-Cut Styling Salon at 114 N. Tully Street in the Village of Convoy. The intruders pried open the rear door of the business to gain entry. Once inside the thieves stole cash from the business.

 Between May 11, and June 22, 2007 theives stole 4 Whelen strobe power supply boxes from vehicles parked at Statewide Ford at 1114 West Main Street in the City of Van Wert.

June 18, 2007: VAN WERT -- Crime Stoppers will pay you cash for information if it will help the Van Wert County Police Department solve the break-ins of three businesses that occured recently in the City of Van Wert.
 During the evening hours of June 11th or the early morning hours of June 12th 2007 three businesses were broken into in the City of Van Wert. Family Video in the 200 block of W. Main Street, Van Wert Super Wash in the 700 block of Fox Road, and Fortney's Barber Shop in the 1100 block of W. Main Street were all broken into. Several game discs were taken from Family Video, and a small amount of cash was taken from one of the other businesses.

  Between February 28th and March 1, 2007, thieves took a John Deere model 110 tractor/loader/backhoe, yellow in color from the business parking lot of PR Tech
at 7600 US Rt. 127 in the City of Van Wert.

  Sometime between 4:00p.m. and 6:39p.m. November 27, 2006 someone illegally entered a home in the 700 block of South Shannon Street. Once inside the intruders ransacked the house and removed money and some firearms from the home.

 On Tuesday, April 10th 2007 at 1:15a.m., a Sheriff's Deputy on patrol discovered a breaking and entering to a business in the Village of Middle Point. Upon a check of two other nearby businesses deputies found they too had been broken into. The Beverage Barn, The Club II Bar, and Big Mike's Pizza, were all broken into by thief's who took merchandise and cash.

  On Friday, November 24, 2006 between the hours of 4:00a.m. and 10:30a.m. someone illegally entered an apartment at 153 Crawford Street. Once inside the apartment thieves removed a toolbox containing a large assortment of hand tools. A Balck & Decker electric drill was also taken in the theft.

April 2, 2007: VAN WERT -- Crime Stoppers will pay you cash for information if it will help the Van Wert County Police Department solve the breaking and entering to a doctor's office in the 1100 block of Westwood Drive in the City of Van Wert.
  On two separate occasions thieves broke into the Womens Healthcare Offices at 1179 Westwood Drive in the City of Van Wert. The first break-in occurred on the evening or early morning hours of February 16th or 17th 2007. The second break-in occurred in the evening of March 16th or early morning hours of March 17th 2007. Cash was the target of thieves in both incidents.

  Sometime between 2:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 15th 2006 someone broke into a barn on Venedocia-St. Marys Road and took a red Honda ATV 4-wheeler and several tools including a Craftsman 12" table saw, a 12" compond miter saw, a Porter cable air compressor, and a variety of hand tools.

  At 12:10 a.m. on Friday, December 29th 2006 an employee of Brown's Auto Sales at 1105 East Main Street discovered an unknown intruder inside the business. As the employee tried to block the intruder from leaving, the suspect stuck the employee with an unkown object. The suspect is described as; a young white male, thin build, long brown hair, with piercings on his mouth and ears.

The intruders took several power and hand tools, including a Craftsman roller tool cabinet, Craftsman Miter and scroll saw, Craftsman router and table, and a Campbell Housefield pressure washer.

False ID Attempt Subject for Nov. 11, 2005

February 5, 2007: VAN WERT -- Crime Stoppers will pay you cash for information if it will help the Van Wert Police Department solve the theft by deception by an individual using a fraudulent personal check and false I.D.
  On November 11, 2005 a white female in her late twenties used a fradulent State Identification Card and personal check at the Van Wert Walmart Super Center to purchase a lap top computer. The State ID card had been fradulently obtained from an out of town state license bureau. Attached is a photo of the alleged suspect taken at by the License Bureau during the transaction.

January 29, 2007: VAN WERT -- Crime Stoppers will pay you cash for information if it will help the Van Wert Sheriff's Office solve the theft at a business in US Rt. 127 north of US Rt. 224 in Hoaglin Township of Van Wert County
  In the early morning hours of Saturday, November 25th 2006 someone stole a car hauler trailer from Warehouse on Wheels located at 6973 US Rt. 127. Theives took a Quality brand, 18-foot car hauler trailer from the business. A yellow Hummer H-2 was observed in the area at the time of the theft.

  Sometime between 11:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 12th and 8:45 a.m. Wednesday, December 13th 2006 someone made forcible entry into Ziggy's Bar, at 104 North Main Street in the Village of Convoy. The thieves broke glass to the rear door of the business to gain entry. Once inside the thieves took cash from the business.
