MIDDLE POINT – Once a team sets the bar, then it’s all about taking it to the next level.Before last season started, the Lincolnview boys cross country team wasn’t pegged by many to be a state-caliber team.However, as the season progressed, Lincolnview began to open the eyes of its opponents.By the postseason, the Lancers peaked at the right time, making it to the Division III state cross country meet, where they finished 12th.In 2013, Lincolnview won the Northwest Conference, finished second at the Ottawa district and third at the Tiffin regional.This season Lincolnview looks to be the team to beat.
