Being perfect (despite what my family, friends and co-workers say) I see no reason to make any New Year's resolutions for myself, except maybe to try to be less modest. So I decided to use the time that I could have spent pondering my resolutions in coming up with resolutions others should offer in order to make this world a better place.

I admit that liberal media bias is, most of the time, subtle. That is, your average consumer of news is not likely to even notice it. It is, for the most part, not even intentional, just sloppy craftsmanship. Or, at least, that is what I like to believe because the idea that the profession I have spent my life practicing is tainted is not a pleasant one.

In the days since Gov. Mitt Romney chose U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan as his running mate on the GOP presidential ticket, liberals have been arguing just how awful Ryan’s budget proposal is, i.e., it will destroy Medicare, forcing seniors to spend their golden years in abject poverty, it will eliminated the middle class, and, as a side benefit, probably bring about the apocalypse.
