1. LeBron James


Two time NBA championship winner, LeBron James, currently plays for the Miami Heat. He is one of the few NBA players drafted directly out his high school, St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, to play in the NBA for the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2003. His move to the Miami Heat in 2010 caused some hard feelings, but fans still are in awe of his amazing abilities.


2. Tim Tebow


At only 25, Tim Tebow has an impressive list of accomplishments. He has was the first ever sophomore to win the Heisman Trophy. He was a first round draft pick in 2010, and the winner of two NCAA National Football Championships. He has played for the Denver Broncos, New York Jets and is now a New England Patriots. Tebow is a fan favorite because of his college success as a quarterback and his unabashed faith.


3. Michael Jordan (tied)


Still considered one of the best basketball players of all time, Michael Jordan’s leaping ability earned him the nickname “Air Jordan” after which he named a line of athletic shoes and sports apparel. He led the Chicago Bulls to six NBA championship titles. He won five MPV awards, 10 All-NBA First Team designations, and numerous other awards. Retired from basketball in 2003, he is an entrepreneur and majority owner and head of basketball operations for the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats. During his career, he scored more than 32,000 points.


3. Joey Votto


First baseman for the Cincinnati Reds, Joey Votto holds a .316 batting average. He has been a four-time all star, National League MVP in 2010, National League Hank Aaron Award recipient in 2010, the Gold Glove Award winner in 2011, the Lou Marsh Trophy winner in 2010, a three-time Tip O’Neill Award winner in 2010 to 2012, and a three-time National League On-Base percentage leader. He is known as a clutch hitter and recognized for his defensive play at first base.
