Letter: Don't ever let agecatch up to you
Getting old seems to be taking on more and more attention of our changing population. People are living longer, driving in more senior years. There are more pains and illnesses to deal with. Sometimes, cures are getting more brands on store shelves. Doctors are showing up on TV shows.
It's a longer way to go. Keeping in shape, adding more remedies. Diets? Foods of all kind. Face-lifts!
I am 92 and not a wrinkle. I'm learning to swim again. Sports attractions are drawing big crowds. Stadiums are being crowded by crowds of more than 100,000. Women have clear complexions in their 60s and 80s! Old-timers are dancing, romancing! Taking on heart surgeries for venture-adventure. I've just returned from southern vacation lands. Meals ordered at restaurants fill up big dining room platters.
Masses have big bellies and wide behinds. People are coming and going. Traffic is everywhere. The entertainment. Commercials are crowding our media. There are news-smashing headlines. You better open up for dialogues all over the world. You simply can't afford to get behind. Being hip is everyone's demand. There's no sense in losing sight of what's new.
Shake, rattle and roll. New development at every turn. This town, like any other, boasts what is new. Happiness is the change you live, go, remember. One wants to pursue, prevail, predict. You just can't let yourself get old.
Out of date? Wake up! Don't miss a thing! It's generally later than you think. It's the same old story. Someone is gaining on you. Adios, Jose.
