Letter: Quit subsidizing fuels that don't perform

I would love to see new manufacturing in our region. I wish, however, we could find an industry that actually can survive without government handouts and benefit society. Lima Energy is not one of them.
I would like to quote our government's own words at www.fueleconomy.gov regarding E85: It “has a lower energy content, resulting in fewer miles per gallon.” I would like to support a fuel that gives me more miles per gallon in my vehicle, not less, wouldn't you?
