Letter: Photo of Marines shouldn't be printed

Vera Siebanoller, Lima

I have read several articles referring to the incident of the Marines urinating over bodies. Several questions come to mind.

Could that be a fake photo trying to frame Marines who are fighting for our freedom?

I think that picture would be considered too risque. Doesn't the paper realize kids read it along with adults?

Why is the photographer picking on the Marines? They are over there to keep us free. Free to read a paper that obviously supports news downgrading the Marines.

Where they were, are there port-a-pots or even outhouses? That information was not brought out in the articles.

I realize urinating over the bodies is not good, but what did the enemy do to the Marines that would cause such anger to do that?

Doesn't the news stop and think about the families of those men? The families are here in America, not knowing if their loved ones will even return.

As a Navy veteran, I know what you are doing to crush these kids protecting us so we can live in comfort.
