I am writing to say, “thank you” to the four men who came to my rescue on Memorial Day while I was parking to go to the parade. Every year, my son, David and I go to the parade and were anxious to get there. We saw an open parking area on Robb Avenue and headed there to park. After backing into the spot, the car slipped into the water drain area, which did not allow me to go forward or backward.Within minutes, there were four men from neighboring houses, one with a car jack, coming to my rescue. Upon learning they needed to pull the car out, one of the men went for his truck and chain and within minutes my rear tire was out of the deep drain grille opening.I want to thank them for all they did to help. It is so gratifying to know there are still people out there who are willing to help others they don't even know. Again, thank you so much!. — Susan Renshaw, Lima
