U.S. moral bankruptcy complete

It seemed ironic that on the same day the front page headline stated some were celebrating the Supreme Court legitimizing sodomy with benefits, the Today in History on the second page noted that in 1787 the six volume work on the “Decline and fall of the Roman empire” was completed.

Setting religion aside, as most like too, common sense and the natural law decry this decision by the justices. Many believe freedom means license, and the relativist cries, “There is no truth,” except that statement.

I do not believe that the countries in the Middle East will be embracing this Supreme Court decision anytime soon. We may be a materially wealthy country, but our moral bankruptcy seems near complete. The wall of separation of church and state was originally intended to keep the state out of religion, and it is not even in the Constitution.

Truth is true even if no one believes it and error is error even if everyone believes it. If you want to rail against the truth, this is a right you have as an American. Just be sure to date your rantings acknowledging the truth of the one who split history.
