Press ‘3’ for the next robot

It is now the rule rather than the exception. I am referring to not being able to get a human when placing a phone call. Here is a hypothetical example even though a realism. I will call a business only to have a “robot” tell me to press “2.” When I press “2,” the next robot tells me to press “4.” Then when I press “4,” the robot says to press “2.” Here, I decide not to press “2” … and you know why.

I may try something different. The next time I make one of those calls, if I finally get a human, I’ll ask that person to transfer me to a robot.
