Fair is fair, but not

to farmers, others

The letters from the right wing writers in The Lima News are a continuing source of disbelief.

First they claim the auto bailout didn’t work. There are now 790,000 people in the auto and related industries now working. Is this failure?

Also it is laugh out loud ridiculous to claim John Kasich is turning Ohio around.

His administration and the Republican general assembly cut school funding so much in the last budget that 194 districts had to go to the voters for more money.

Not content with that, Kasich now wants to cut 91 million from education service centers that provide support to all Ohio schools.

Also, we read in the paper that the representatives from the Farm Bureau here and around Ohio went to Washington to plead for the farm bill, and something called “crop insurance” paid for by the hated federal government, to insure them against losses in a bad crop year.

The same people and voters who demand the government shrink, want their interests addressed. The money comes from the same place, the taxpayers. If they can’t succeed let another company or group take over the farms. That is what they demanded with the auto bailout.

Fair is fair.
