Times tough, but

Elida needs levy

I have read many letters regarding the tough economic times, and the challenges each school levy presents. Things are getting more expensive, we have seen our utility bills go up, our grocery bills go up and this can be frustrating. This is hard on many families. My husband and I are no different, we work hard to make a nice life our family, as everyone does.

However, we both consider it a privilege, an honor even to vote yes for our Elida levy. Education is priceless. It is a gift we can all give the children of this community. It is an investment that will benefit everyone as we show them with every yes vote that they are worthy and special. Each yes vote teaches our children that their community cares about them, and will teach them to care about their community as they grow into adults. Every child deserves the best we can possibly give, and I believe this is true not just for my children, but for my neighbor’s children. Having the opportunity to contribute to our community in this way makes this country unique and special. Our children deserve opportunities, just as we were given opportunities. This is a noble way we can all invest in our community. Please, take the time to go and vote yes for the Elida levy. Vote yes, and watch this community continue to flourish. There is nothing more valuable than education. Let’s show our kids what really matters.
