Seduced by evil, blinded by truth
I just finished the book, “The Seduction of Eva Volk,” a novel by C.D. Baker. He acknowledges persons who assisted in his research, including Dr. Manford Rommel, son of Fieldmaster Rommel.
The story is about human beings, as told from the German perspective. With high unemployment, the country in turmoil, and war looming, ordinary people in Hitler’s Germany were seduced by evil and became blind to truth. Youth, Christians including most pastors and most German people were taken in by Hitler’s charisma.
I think this should be required reading for all high school and college students.
Does any of this sound familiar today?
All I can think is America beware!
